Why Is It Sometimes Colder INDOORS

crossover_chickNo, seriously, it was FREEZING inside work today! I mean, the day started off a bit cold, but it actually hit the 60s by the time I left the office. I don't know WHY it was so freaking chilly in the building! Bleh. >( At least there were no major crises to deal with -- GL worked, and we got the rest of our project regarding the big roster maintenance thing done. Now we're moving onto smaller stuff. . .like correcting some bad addresses on returned mail. *shrug* It's a living, and I'll take it over issues with what is and isn't being counted on the GL.
Evening's been pretty chill as well. I actually didn't start Chapter 9 of "Fixing You" today -- instead, I decided to start working on my "Valice Shipping Week" shorts. It felt like a good time to do so -- we're two weeks out from the actual week, and I'm in a good position to do something different for a bit, given that I'm at a break between chapters. I got the one that'll be posted for Halloween done, and started on the first prompt since I had an idea for that too. It'll be a good breather, and I'll be all set to queue these up when it's time for them to post. :)
I also watched some videos, of course -- James has FINALLY finished the Old Salty House vet clinic with the upstairs apartment! It actually came out really nicely -- he tweaked color schemes, added in a bunch windows, and generally just spruced the place up. So that means "Wags to Riches" is pretty much done -- he said he's going to do a finale episode, and then we can move onto "Keeping Up With The Bigwallets." XD And Helloween finished something too -- Kholat! Which -- well, it had some interesting ideas, but I agree with Helloween that it ultimately ended up too confusing and open-ended for my tastes. The ending was completely baffling, and you never do really understand if there's something supernatural at work, or you're just reading the ravings of a madman. Which can work, but. . .didn't really here. Nice potential, but didn't quite live up to it. Though, we've seen much worse on his channel.
And then I did my VictorLuvsAlice queue -- Sims post and first Thursday post up, yay -- and looked at some fanfic, and -- okay, wow, it's almost midnight?! Time to clear the inbox and hit the sheets, yikes! Hopefully I have an easier time getting to sleep tonight. It's still surprisingly warm. . .we'll see what happens when morning comes, though. Weather is weird in fall in New England. . .night all!
