crossover_chick-->I thought I was getting my period last night, but apparently it was a false alarm -- it has to be coming soon, though, as I'm displaying most of the classic PMS symptoms (including irritability, tiredness, and distractedness -- not a great combo)
-->Work was heated (yay!), but full of minor irritants and things pulling me from the project I was trying to do (namely, clean up some bad addresses we have in the system -- which I'm starting to think are a duplicates issue -- boo)
-->We're looking into getting a new roof put on the house -- we're hoping to do it this fall before the snow starts so we'll be protected, but if necessary we'll go out to next spring. Also looking into getting a generator (as you never know! Had a pretty bad windstorm last night, could have lost power then)
-->Wrote TWO more Valice Shipping Week shorts! :) Did the one I already had an idea for yesterday (Secundus-based), then came up with another one right afterward (Queen Wins-based, which is the bad end of "Secundus" where Alice (and pretty much everyone else) dies and Victor ends up a broken survivor of the Queen's rampage -- it's sad :( )
-->YOUTUBE WENT DOWN. For over an hour! Right after I finished watching my subscription videos, in fact (James's build of the secret bowling alley in his mansion, and a new "Fun With Shorts" which is a safety film about what to do if you find a blasting cap (answer's in the name: DON'T TOUCH!)). I quickly became aware of just how much I now dislike silence while I'm surfing the web. o.O Resorted to going through my Song Saturday tab and playing non-YouTube based music clips just to have SOMETHING on in the background. (Also discovered ONE YouTube video embed that was working -- an old lyric video to "Clumsy" by Fergie, of all things. O.o) Not my most productive night as a result.
-->Fortunately, I'm a bit ahead on my VictorLuvsAlice queue, and I did manage to get the ValiceMultiverse one done, so that's good. And I only have a couple things more in my inbox, so time to empty that out and go to bed. Trying to get to sleep a little earlier tonight. . . Hopefully tomorrow will have a few less downs. And more YouTube. Night all!
