Oh, HERE You Are, Red Curse
Oct. 17th, 2018 11:14 pmTurns out yesterday's weirdness regarding that was in fact an early warning -- damn thing hit this morning. Not exactly great for my mood, but I got through the day well enough. Helped that, despite the usual few crises, most of it was fairly quiet. Still picking away at bad addresses -- doing what I can, when I can. Best way to look at work, really.
Evening was pretty good too -- I got both the next chapter of "The Technicolor Phase," Victor Purple, and the FF.net and AO3 versions of "Fixing You" Chapter 8 posted! Which led to me getting ahead on my VictorLuvsAlice queue a bit, yay~ Nice to have all the pieces for that early. :) Particularly when I'm on my period and thus struggling with creative stuff.
I also got to watch some videos:
-->Another episode of The Sim Supply/Dr. Gluon "Bread to Riches" crossover -- turns out their breadsperiment yielded some interesting results! Namely, that single servings of a loaf of bread will sell for the same price as a full loaf -- quality is what matters most when it comes to price. They are exploiting this for all it's worth XD Also, they brightened up the hole in the shop floor with some green sludge (actually a fountain emitter set to green -- I didn't even KNOW you could set colors on those! Awesome). A very amusing time was had by all XD
-->Another set of Vampyr from Helloween! Featuring a big, somewhat awkward Conversation of Exposition between Jonathan and Lady ELISABETH Ashbury, who is now officially his love interest. Which -- semi comes out of nowhere, as she's been nice to us but we don't really know her that well. . .but there is some chemistry, so I shan't bitch. Also, the Priwen Guard has called a Great Hunt of vampires, Jonathan's sire is around being creepy, and Jonathan has to play buddy buddy with the Ascalon Club, a group of sexist and racist "elite" vampires. Fun, eh? At least there were plenty of guards and other vampires to smack with his smacking stick. Honestly, the game has some interesting ideas, but I don't always think they're executed to their fullest potential. (And I will remain forever salty about its save system that doesn't let you go back to previous checkpoints. Ugh. This despite me not playing it. . .and being unlikely to do so FOR THAT EXACT REASON.)
And that's about it, really -- nothing more interesting to relate. Beyond it getting SUPER COLD tonight, but I'm in a nice warm house and will be taking soup for lunch tomorrow, soooo. . . Time to clear out the inbox and hit the sheets, I think. Night all!
