Did The Things!

crossover_chickAs in, I cleaned my room (actually, the whole house got cleaned, courtesy of my mom going on a binge this morning -- I did my space after she finished), and I played BioShock Infinite! We made it to the airship, and Elizabeth realized that Booker was not taking her to Paris and had no intention of doing so. And when he tried to justify himself, she clocked him with a wrench. XD Cue Booker being roped into helping the Vox Populi get some guns for their revolution, and having to chase Elizabeth through Fink Industries (which features more copious racism and classism with fun little slideshows! Columbia, why are you so beautiful and yet so AWFUL). Ending with him getting thrown around like a rag doll by a Handyman and managing to get Elizabeth to -- well, not trust him, but work with him again so they can get their airship back from the Populi. (I suppose it helped that he survived getting thrown around via Elizabeth pulling a balloon through a tear for him to grab onto. Guess she figured she owed him that much since he did save her from those previous mobs.) So I'm up to the teeth-clenched teamwork part of the game. Promises to be fun. :p I'm just looking forward to the next vigor -- though Shock Jockey and Murder of Crows remain my current faves. They're both just so -- useful. By which I mean all these people shooting at me die very effectively to them. :p
The other stuff I did today consists pretty much of:
-->Editing another part of "The Technicolor Phase" -- another "retread of part of the Forgotten Vows Verse," with Lizzie and Bonejangles's first meeting. Though I didn't feel as weird about writing this one as I did the confrontation between Alice and Bumby. Maybe because it went very differently this time around, with everything that happened in "In The Land of the Dead" sped up. . . Or maybe I just like writing LizJangles. Who knows. :p
-->Watching the latest Atop The Fourth Wall episode -- Freddy vs Jason vs Ash: The Nightmare Warriors, which turned out to be an awful excuse of a crossover comic that wasted all its potential. :( Linkara's actual plot though -- DAMN, dude can be creepy when he wants to be! We've hit the big reveal, and it is a good one. I'm really wondering how things are going to go on the actual 10th anniversary episode.
-->Posting another one of my Winter Bingo prompts to "Scenes From Secundus" -- spoon! Which didn't require any editing because it's a super-silly dialogue-only fic, so that was easy. XD
-->Doing my VictorLuvsAlice queue, got that set up for the next couple of days, yay~
-->And doing a bit of the RP thing, as per usual. Speaking of which, I've got some comments to answer on Dreamwidth, so I'd better get on that. . .and then tomorrow, planning on at least a partial video binge to clear up some of the stuff in my Watch Later queue. A bunch of interesting videos have come out and I want to watch all of them. In particular, Mike and Andy apparently going head to head in the new Hitman game. :D
