crossover_chickI had a peanut butter cup in his honor today. And, as you can see, I snagged the 10:04 post! Which is, frankly, a miracle as we had another night where the internet just randomly went out for a good chunk of the evening. *growls* It came back on every so often in very short bursts, but it wasn't until about 9:30 that it came back on for keeps. And even now I'm having a hard time trusting it. I ATTEMPTED to watch some of Helloween's latest Vampyr set, despite the interruptions, but -- it just wasn't working. Only video I really got to watch was The Sim Supply's Sims Camp video where he talked with Sim Guru Graham about the history of the infamous Toddler Stuff ball pit. While in a ball pit. XD Turns out, the reason it was shipped with such awful textures was because they originally had a much different idea for doing the playground equipment -- something more modular -- but when that didn't pan out, they had to rush to redo things for the pack, and the ball pit got left behind in the chaos. Understandable, I suppose. Though I still enjoy the ribbing James gave them over it. XD
I did get my last Valice Shipping Week short all sorted (a poly-verse one), and all my pictures for my next two Sims updates (hey, while I was there. . .). So some productivity came out of this. I'd have rather gotten a chance to watch ALL my new videos, though. Hmph. But it's kind of been that sort of day, really. Discovered a nasty little error at work that REALLY should have been caught, tried to organize the pile of roster maintenance, answered a dozen little questions that I wish people could just figure out for themselves. . .all that fun stuff. And now it's supposed to rain off and on tomorrow for a while, and the rest of the week's supposed to be chilly, and Saturday there's going to be a storm. . . Damn it, I really hope we have a decent Halloween. That's all I want, a chance to pop in the vampire fangs and give out candy (and pretzels, this year). And maybe watch some Corpse Bride, I dunno. Depends on what happens that afternoon, I'm thinking.
*sigh* Anyway! Got some catching up to do on various bits of the web, some stuff in the inbox to answer, and then I should sneak in SOMETHING to do with Doc before I go to bed. Maybe I'll rewatch the "Doc's inventions" video from BTTF: The Ride, I always liked that. :p Night all!
