So There Was A Tornado Warning Today

crossover_chickIn South County and Block Island -- I really hope nothing came of it. There actually WAS a tornado in Lincoln not too long ago, which was -- mildly terrifying. No deaths that I've heard of, but a LOT of property damage. I'm just thankful the rain this morning didn't last long past my commute. Been off and on clouds/sun the rest of the day. And the next few days are supposed to be pretty nice. A bit chilly tomorrow, but then Halloween's supposed to hit 60 -- and Thursday almost 70! Hell of a thing for the first day of November, huh? I'll take it. Gotta relish the nice days while you can.
Work was okay -- another day of "people keep making demands on our time and it's like how do you expect us to get anything done," but -- well, some stuff DID get done. Finished off a bit of maintenance, and answered some questions for the processing company, called some people -- the day certainly went by, which is good. And once I got home, I was able to get my Halloween costume sorted (just a matter of picking which blouse to wear with my skirt and cape) and get in a nice workout before watching Halloween Wars with the family. We're belatedly checking out the latest season on YouTube -- while, as per usual, it's nothing on the first season, it does have some pretty nice pieces, so it's far from the worst one we've seen.
Did my editing on the next Valice Shipping Week short to go in the queue -- Londerland Bloodlines-related this time. Was kind of hard to pin down, to my surprise. I though my vampire theme this October would make it easier, but -- it was just difficult to find the right words to express what I wanted out of the story. Ended up with something that felt all right, but -- I dunno. Might have appreciated a little longer to wrassle with it. Maybe if I decide to crosspost them to AO3 at any point I'll gear up for round three.
Only one video tonight, though that's because it was a LONG one -- James showing off some of his gameplay footage from Sims Camp regarding Get Famous. He showed off a bit of the acting career, and how fame works, and complained about how EA keeps teasing cars without actually putting them in the games. XD But it was good stuff, and it was neat to see in more detail how the acting career works, and all that other stuff. Still, it all seems a bit dizzying -- I'm glad I'm only going to have one or two "celebrity" Sims in Newcrest Adventures! Something I'll have to build up to, I think.
And then it was the usual catch-up stuff, and getting my queue ready for the next couple of days. Everything ready through the first third of Thursday, yay~ And now I gotta empty out the inbox and get to bed. Two more days! Night all!
