Yeah, that was kind of an omen. Spent the day getting yanked from one problem to another. GL issues, billing issues, e-mail issues -- all the issues. And here's me hoping for maybe a semi-quiet first day back. . .should know it never works out that way. *sigh* Guess we'll see how the rest of the week goes. . .

At least my evening can boast a very important triumph -- I FINISHED CHAPTER 9 OF "FIXING YOU!" Yeah, turns out I had just over a page to go after I cut out the unnecessary bits, so I just plowed on and got it done! :D So that can go up this Friday -- and, thanks to me having a brainwave over lunch, I have an appropriate post to go up over Thanksgiving weekend while I start work on Chapter 10! Good times, good times~ Feels really great to get the darn thing finished, let me tell you.

After that, an OXBox list of video games that can ruin your brain (mentioning such things as the famous "Tetris Effect" and the desire to scale nearby buildings after playing too much Assassin's Creed) and a new set of Call of Cthulhu from Helloween (spooky shenanigans with creepy books, and a trip back to Riverside Institute to find some missing patient files! And the key to the boiler room, which Helloween was VERY salty about not being able to pick up straight away XD) felt like appropriate reward. Good stuff -- even if CoC STILL needs a better proofreader. I swear, I spot at least one typo every set. *grumbles* At least the story remains pretty cool -- I'm looking forward to seeing how it progresses further.

I also got my queues on tumblr done, which is good -- another three-parter Sim episode, no surprise there. But people seem to like them, so I shan't complain. Now I just have to do the usual emptying of the inbox, and then it's off to bed. Fingers crossed Wednesday the 14th is a little better, at least work-wise. Night all!
