The major up? We may finally have our GL woes licked with a new summary report that should stop us having to print out every batch individually and take so much time matching things up with the bank reconciliation report. We're currently testing out the format and looking for any kinks, but already it looks like a much better report than the one we've been using. Hopeful this'll lead to some much quicker GLs!

The major down? That coworker who's out for medical stuff is going to be out the rest of the month. And my other coworker is going out midmonth for similar reasons. Soooo, yeah, that's a bit of a pickle, isn't it? We're having a meeting about that soonish, I think, to see what's going to happen for the rest of December. At least it's a slower part of the year. . .or it would be if people weren't constantly contacting me for help on their reports or asking where their statements are. *sigh* It seems so rare that I can just sit down with a project and DO it. At least we're getting some of the temp help back in again to assist. . .

The evening, at least, has been pretty all right for the most part. Got a fair bit done:

-->Got my Sims post on tumblr all sorted, along with my Valice Multiverse queue done later (another big one)

-->Wrote some more on Chapter 10 of "Fixing You" -- finished off the Mysterious East section, with Alice telling Victor an annoying bit of brain psychology -- that our brains remember bad things better than good ones -- to reassure him he's better than he thinks he is, and he doesn't say stupid stuff as often as he thinks he does. Next up, we move onto the Wonderland Woods and some decidedly less friendly ants. . .

-->Caught up on The Sim Supply's "Bread To Riches" stream with Dr. Gluon -- in this episode, carrots and potatoes are obtained, for even fancier and higher-priced bread! Willet also gets more proper roofing over her back yard, nearly overheats from wearing a towel (must be one hell of a thick towel!), and plants a small garden to fuel her new forays into vegetable bread. Good times! :p Also watched a RabbidLuigi video about the worst Smash Bros stages (interesting, even if I don't play the games personally), and a Sims Logic about The Sims Medieval (which points out the interesting fact that the Sims Medieval Sims look BETTER than Sims 3 Sims, despite being being a spin-off game with at least some of the same engine).

So yeah, that's all good. I still need to clear out what I can of the inbox, of course -- meant to do that earlier, but -- big Valice Multiverse queue, and LOTS of messages on tumblr. Always something I feel I have to take care of. . . All right, off to get this stuff sorted. Night all!
