I hate leaving houses unfinished
Nov. 12th, 2004 11:18 pmBut unless I wanted to play Sims until midnight. . . .
-D: I thought you were working on the courthouse square.-
I did, but I get the feeling I messed it up. All things considered, I'm going to have to put another community lot on the other side.
-M: Huh?-
I've decided the street facing the lot is Hill Street. Lou's, The Third Eye, and the Texaco are on the other side of that. I also have to think about what I can put in the lot to make my Sims happy. There's no restaurants, or much to shop for. *frowns* I miss my expansion packs now.
-J: Did you get Lone Pine Mall done?-
*nodnod* Had to redo the Fox Photo booth, but I should have it roaring and ready by tomorrow. :) I hope you all like it. I also played some of the elder McFlys -- Seamus and Maggie are of course still hamming it up with each other. I had Seamus kiss Maggie up the arm early Wednesday. Will got his final body point, but was starting to go into serious need failure. Maggie to the rescue -- I used her aspiration points to get an energizer so Will could hop in and get all charged up. I had him clean in the hour before he went to work. The energizer paid off -- Will got his promotion to Patrol Officer! That made him all happy and ready to recieve a visitor -- Miss Andrea Hogan. He roped her into a game of chess to get a friend.
-M: That my great-grandma?-
Sadly, no -- I hate to play a race game, but Will's wife has to be of a light skin. Andrea's black. Ah well -- I'll do my best to make them buddies. Late in the night, the shower broke -- Will managed to fix it. I should have taken a picture, though -- the bathroom has no floor (it's an outhouse, after all) so weeds grew inside from the puddles. :D
Thursday morning, Seamus was the first up, gathering money from the Money Tree:

Will best-friended Seamus over breakfast:

Since William now has an afternoon to evening shift, I had him invite his pal Andrea over. She requested to bring a friend, I said sure. She showed up with Komei Tellerman. Will served all gelatin, then best-friended Maggie as well. He tried to make friends with Andrea, but things just weren't clicking (even if on his side the daily was up into the 80s). Maggie entertained Komei for a while, but the git decided to steal money off the tree. Will and Seamus headed off to work, leaving Maggie to clean up and study mechanical. She also met Ivy Copur, a passing teenager. Seamus came home to meet Jan Tellerman -- Jan's a light Sim, so she has a chance at being Marty's great-grandma. Seamus and Maggie did a little romancing in the bathroom. Then I got to see something interesting -- Seamus was hungry, so I directed him to eat gelatin. I expected him to just go around Maggie and out the door. Turns out the outhouse is so small he couldn't get out! Even when I moved Maggie onto the toilet, he was trapped! I quickly released them, and Seamus got his gelatin. Will had to use the Energizer upon coming home from the beat -- a lot of his needs were crummy. I left him finishing up a painting to earn more money -- Fortune Sims feel needy.
-D: So who's house were you forced to leave in disrepair?-
*blush* Yours. I really wanted to move you guys in. The basics of the house are done, I just need to add wallpaper and furniture. Then I'll get started on the album.
-VD: That's not so bad.-
It is set up a little funny. I'll show you guys tomorrow.
Night all, Happy Clocktower day.
