Mild Case of Brain Melt

crossover_chickNot from work, which actually wasn't horrible today -- I got stuff DONE. Specifically, I got the set of returns from our processing company that I was working on cleared out, which was a good feeling. Also didn't have any major crises dumped into my lap, managed to track down a donor for the processing company, and made sure our GL wouldn't get mucked up tomorrow by a batch in progress. Yay productivity. No, this particular case comes from Chapter 10 of "Fixing You!"
It's almost 20,000 words according to the FF.net algorithms and it took me TWO HOURS to do the final edit read-through. @.@ I -- probably should have done this over two days. Though, considering how I felt yesterday, that likely wouldn't have helped. But hey, the chapter is up, and I'm quite happy with it. Victor and Alice having a chance to explore and have fun in Wonderland is just what this fic (which can get very dark given the main plot and Victor's issues) needed. You can read it on FanFic.net or on AO3 (I recommend the latter, as it has notes at the bottom). Hope you guys enjoy it as much as I enjoyed writing it! Chapter 11's will come in 2019 -- I'm going to be focusing on gift fic for a bit, then starting that once I'm done with all those. Gonna take some time, but once we're past January 1st, I should be able to get myself back on something approximating a schedule. (I think, anyway -- no promises with these later chapters. Dunno how much editing they're going to take.)
Anyway -- got that done, got tumblr queues done -- time to empty out the inbox and hit the sheets. One more day to get through. . .hopefully it's more like today and less like Wednesday. Only with the ability to watch The Sim Supply's latest Rags to Riches episode. Night all!
