More Productive Than I Guessed Sunday

crossover_chickMostly because I had to get Dad's Christmas presents out of the car trunk for Mom this morning (when she and Dad went off to get some groceries), meaning I had to cut the majority of my morning mucking-around short. I still did a fair bit of mucking around, but I also:
-->Got another of the new shorts for "The Technicolor Phase" written -- a BJ POV one that starts with him feeling lucky about having Lizzie, then segues into a reveal that Victor's started developing feelings for Alice. Not where I thought that would go, but hey, it works.
-->Also, this technically happened yesterday, but I forgot to post it: first of the seasonal "Scenes From Secundus" prompts, "dreaming of a white Christmas" is up. Just some cute fluff about Chester's first Christmas -- we all like that, right?
-->Caught up on all the videos I had waiting in my Watch Later -- mostly OXBox and OXTra stuff, including:
A) A list of festive foods that don't look so great when you eat them in video games (Fallout 4 sweet rolls are downright scary)
B) A reminiscence on awesome Hitman moments in the past year (and one at the very end of 2017 because it was so funny)
C) Mike doing his best to fulfill a special contract made in his honor, The Silent Mike, inspired by his fabulous kill of an elusive target with an explosive duck. XD Took him a few tries (mainly because he didn't have his duck, but a rather more fiddly explosive pen), but he managed to complete all objectives in the end (including completing the mission in under 30 seconds! O.O Then again, it's set up so all targets are grouped together right at the entrance so. . .) Fricking awesome. XD
-->Also caught up on all episodes of this year's OXMas Challenge! :D So far Jane has failed in getting a low-tier FIFA 19 team to defeat a premiere league team, but succeeded in getting a star on Overcooked's festive DLC level, pumping out flamethrowered turkey dinners; Andy has successfully survived a five-man wrestling brawl with Wrestle Santa; and Mike has successfully shot ten hats off people in Red Dead Redemption 2 without being killed or arrested himself (though he lost his own hat in the bargain). :p Very much looking forward to the rest of the challenges! Kinda hoping Mike wins this year. :D
-->Also caught up on The Sim Supply's Get Famous Rags To Riches LP -- the golden throne has been fully upgraded to be an even more awesome solid-gold toilet. XD Lady II is still earning massive bank from her money trees, Holly may either have never gotten pregnant with Thorne's child or just had the baby offscreen while James was doing other stuff, Brussels is going through a phase where he wants to be in a bear costume all the time, and there was a brief detour to the Bailey-Moon household to age Orange up to a shockingly-ripped teenager. O.o Also James showing off his attempts to set up special angles where he can film Lady's set-house like an actual sitcom. XD Good stuff.
(Oh, and if you're wondering why no Helloween -- poor guy's sick and croaky and hasn't posted any new sets. He's been doing a bit of streaming, though, so maybe something new will pop up this week.)
-->Played some BioShock Infinite -- ended up having to fight Lady Comstock, which was a BALLACHE TO THE FIRST DEGREE. Telekinetic ghost-things that can raise the dead continually to wreck you should NOT BE ALLOWED. And I almost lost my hand cannon when I traded it for another gun mid firefight. Managed to find where I dropped it, thankfully -- it's a good gun and I don't want to give it up. Currently Elizabeth and I are looking up tears that might explain some of Lady Comstock's history and maybe get her to help us break into Comstock's house. We'll see how well it goes. (I actually already know all the big twists, which are being detailed in these here rifts between time and space, but it's still interesting to see the characters react to them. And I don't know all the details myself, either. . .)
