Spoke Waaaay Too Soon

crossover_chick1) Right after I posted last night's entry, I discovered that the LJ Juggler extension for Firefox is no longer working. If I try to use it to switch journals, it just logs me out. And I have no idea WHY -- it was working fine right up until last night. I've had to put the login page on the bookmark bar so I can log in and out with SOME sort of speed (the little login area at the top of the page doesn't have my usernames/passwords conveniently saved). Anyone have any idea what might have happened? I don't know who or where to ask.
2) Had one of those days where I TRIED to get to one certain project, but I kept getting interrupted by different stuff and thus never really got around to it. Fortunately, I DID get the last of the normal December-dated checks on -- small victories. But I've really got to clean up the last of the fiddly bits tomorrow, otherwise it's not getting done by our self-imposed deadline of Friday.
3) Oh, also, I'm sick. Mom got a cold a couple of days ago, and -- close quarters being what they are -- it's been passed on to me. I'm still in the early stages, but I've got a kind of scratchy throat and my nose is getting gradually more stuffy. And I've still got two more days of work to get through. . .plus I have to clean my room on Saturday because I ended up skipping most of it last week because my period was making me so blah. *grumbles* At least it's a three-day weekend and I don't have to go anywhere. . .
So yeah, week has taken a bit of a downturn. >( At least I was able to get another decent chunk of Chapter 13 of "Fixing You" completed. Boss fight with Barkis has started in earnest, with him trying to drown Victor with his poison wine sprayer. It, uh, makes more sense in context. :p I also got a chance to watch a bunch of fun videos:
-->The Sim Supply trying out the new Alexa Sim Skill -- specifically running a couple of rounds through the Sims trivia game. Didn't do so hot on the first go, but made it up to 16 on the second one! Better than I'd do, that's for sure, especially with the Sims 3 questions.
-->OXtra doing a "Bosses Who Just Had To Sing! Commenter's Edition" video, about musical villains -- GLaDOS made the list despite having already been on the first one, as they'd only mentioned "Still Alive" the first time and everybody was clamoring for "Want You Gone." Some other cool stuff on there too, like Drill-X, the dubstep rapping drilling robot. (Skylanders, if you're curious.) And of course it ended with the usual clip of the gang dancing to "You Are Dead" from Total Distortion XD
-->Mike and Andy doing a special escalation mission in Hitman 2, in which men must be killed while wearing the famous Flamingo costume. XD Initially one guy with a battleaxe, then two guys with a battleaxe and one with an explosion, THEN a timer's added and all the targets must be killed within 30 seconds of each other. After many tries, they managed to complete it. And unlocked a secret way to leave the level too! Which is utterly ridiculous and showcases why I love this game so. It takes itself both totally seriously and not nearly seriously enough. XD
-->A bunch of old Frasier clips, as my Home page started recommending them to me and I enjoyed the show, so. . . Good stuff.
And I just finished up my Victor Luvs Alice queue, so it's time to clear out the inbox and head to bed. Probably should take a dose of Nyquil too. . .we'll see how tomorrow goes. Night all!
