crossover_chickSoooo -- tone of the day was pretty much set when I couldn't peel myself out of bed this morning until about 10:30 AM, and even then I felt like I could have slept a bit longer. Dragging myself around the kitchen to make my smoothie, I KNEW I wasn't getting any cleaning accomplished. Being on my feet felt more like a chore than anything else most of the day. My cold may have taken some umbrage to me going to work the past couple of days. Either that or it took me a while to shake off the effects of the cold medicine. . . At any rate, it was a very lazy day, with me spending most of it reading the TV Tropes entry on Frasier and watching clips from it on YouTube. The lazy does seem to have helped, though -- I don't feel quite so congested as I did before, and a bit more awake. Don't want to push it, though, so I'm going slow on the RP stuff (just queuing up responses on Valice Multiverse, for example) and will probably try to make it a bit of an early night.
I did get a couple of things done, though:
-->Watched an OXBox video about games unfairly stealing your previous inventory items (usually through sending your character to some sort of jail); a Sim Supply build where he made a mini-factory that had been converted into a loft living space (it's very cool, and I kind of want to download it both to use and to try and renovate into a castle build); and Helloween's last Castlevania: Portrait of Ruin set, where Jonathan and Charlotte take on Dracula and Death (Helloween shit-talked the bosses and promptly had to chew through his potions; ended up dying once before defeating them, both in their separate and combined forms. Also took a moment to show us a bit of the unlocked alternate modes -- one where you can play as Richter Belmont with his friend Maria, and one where you can play as the two sisters Stella and Loretta, who are bosses-turned-allies in the main game). All good stuff.
-->Played some Sims 4 -- found a butterfly house build from Deligracy I've been looking for in the gallery, plus another one inspired by her build that looks equally neat. If I ever do that "just Victor and Alice" save file I occasionally think of doing (though I honestly think I'd end up throwing Victoria and Emily, and Lizzie and Bonejangles, into it too), I'd want them to eventually live in one of those.
As for my current Newcrest Adventures save, in keeping with my day, Emmett and Nikal had a pretty low-key day around the house. Newcrest had one of its famous massive thunderstorms, so I kept them inside, tinkering in the downstairs lab, playing chess, and reading books. Not massively exciting, but I kept them happy. And I DID plan their wedding for a later playsession -- had to have Emmett do it so Marty could come, along with his and Nikal's coworkers. I'll probably have Nikal phone Eric from the lot when it happens so he can attend too. Good times.
-->Got another Scene From Secundus up: the "aunt" prompt, which has received a pretty thorough makeover. Didn't do any other writing, but I think all that editing had to count for something.
Okay -- time to finish up queuing, see what I can do with the comments in my inbox, then probably read something or watch a few more clips on YouTube before going to bed. Hopefully tomorrow I'll feel a little more awake through more of the day. . . Night all!
