They said earlier in the week that it was just going to be snow showers, but now it's up to 2-5" inches starting *glances outside* Right now! The schools have lucked out, since tomorrow is President's Day and the kids were off anyway, but there's plenty of activities being canceled and parking bans being enacted. My own work is on an hour and a half delay -- building opens at 10. I'll take it -- gonna go to bed regular time, but set my alarm so I can get up a little later. Might as well sneak in a little extra sleep if I can!

Was another pretty low-key Sunday, though I got pretty much all the stuff I wanted to get done, done, including:

-->Catching up on my videos -- starting with an LGR look at a "My First Keyboard" kids' keyboard from the 90s that claimed to be spill and peanut-butter proof! So naturally LGR put that to the test. XD Turns out, yes, it will function just fine with peanut butter, chocolate sauce, and milk all over it. He even played Duke Nukem 64 with it! XD So that was amusing. Then I moved onto another Fact Hunt episode about ridiculous fails in the gaming industry (including a case of DRM so bad the developers had to get a PIRATED COPY OF THE GAME to circumvent it for their digital download buyers (said DRM was based around having a physical copy of the game to check for legitimacy, you see)).

Then it was over to Helloween, with another episode of Metro Exodus -- there are conspiracies inside conspiracies here! Apparently Anna's father was privy to the fact that the surface wasn't a fully irradiated hellhole, and the whole reason the Metro was so isolated was because the surviving government was trying to keep it hidden to prevent more bombs from being dropped. . .at any rate, we've blown up a train trying to arrest us, named our own train the Aurora, run into a technology-hating cult, and nearly gotten eaten by a lake monster. Helloween remains a true "master" of stealth throughout. XD To be fair, he TRIES not to get into fights, but. . .everyone in the comments is warning him that there IS a bad ending and he'd better cut down on the bloodshed. We'll see what happens. :p

And finally we had a little Deligracy marathon -- one video looking at cool builds from her subscribers (I noted down a lovely family home and an awesome-looking cemetery lot for later download); one video looking at renovations people did of one of her own builds (noted down the hashtag for that one -- I particularly liked one build that had a little kiddie clubhouse inside! Complete with a fake yard!); and one video where she went through the ABC child challenge (one Sim, 26 children, all named after the appropriate letter of the alphabet. Deli smartly put her Sim on a lot where it was a lot more likely for her to bear twins, but still was driven largely mad by how LONG it took to get to 26! To the point where it looked like she skipped over a few letters while editing -- poor girl got loopy). So that was all fun. :)

-->Playing Sims 4 -- final day of Emmett and Nikal's portion of my updates, and it was a pretty standard day at the lab for Emmett. He's gotten the mind-control update to the SimRay that makes people clean now -- unfortunately, he did not get the goal to make his own cloning mat. Not that it matters anyway, as the purpose I was hoping to put it to -- cloning rare seed packets so he can complete his magic bean collection and grow the PlantSim tree -- can't be done yet anyway (he's not high-enough Gardening level to buy the packet). At least I was able to get some better pictures of it cloning something this time. . . Ah well -- maybe during their next round I can get something done with that.

-->Writing on Chapter 15 of "Fixing You" -- Victor and Alice slowly but surely taking out all the faces screaming nastiness at Victor on the Colossal Nell. Enjoying being able to use the new weapons like the Quill Bow. :) I'm feeling a touch torn, though -- originally, the Nell had a Galswells face too because, well, Galswells hates Victor as much as anybody. I eliminated it in the first edit because Galswells already had a fairly big role as the gate guardian, forcing Victor to go through the rehearsal again. But now I'm wondering if I should put him back because of a reviewer commenting that it seemed strange for Galswells to just show up as a puzzle. . . I dunno. I have to have a solid think about that one.

For now, though, I've finished off my Valice Multiverse queue, so it's time to empty out the inbox and then head to bed. It may be a late morning tomorrow, but I've still got work, so. . . Night all!
