I Strongly Suspect I'm PMSing

crossover_chickAs I'm both cranky and kind of tired. Granted, this could just be a stress thing from my job (another busy one today -- people calling about gifts, needing to put big gifts on, needing to shift money around -- all the usual), but I recall that I got my period not long after the start of the month in February, so. . .I'm just glad Mom was able to get me another big pack of pads. I had some, but with bad weather coming in (guaranteed snowstorm tomorrow, "weird system we're still tracking" Sunday night), it's good to know that we won't have to make any emergency runs for this.
Anyway, another stressful day at work, and an equally-stressful commute home -- traffic was backing up on my usual route, so I cut through the city -- which turned out to be not the greatest plan, as I had to work my way around obstacle after obstacle after OBSTACLE. I swear, everyone and everything was trying to get in my way today. Not exactly the ride you want when you're already tired and grouchy. Made it home in one piece, but hoping I won't have to repeat THAT experience anytime soon!
Home was better, at least:
-->Got another chunk done on Chapter 16 of "Fixing You" -- Victor and Alice have realized their boss fight against the Conglomeration was perhaps a bit too easy, and have moved Upstairs to face the REAL final boss. Too bad neither of them are expecting what they're going to get.
-->Watched the latest episode of "Super Sim Challenge" from The Sim Supply -- Max is doing well! He's set his tile on the Starlight Boulevard, maxed out the acting and media production skills, and invited Myra to live with him so he can name his child how he likes. :p There were also a few improvements to the house (such as adding a Max Power portrait art gallery to the roof temporarily to help Myra get some aspiration points from the Fortune aspirations XD), and a few glitches (apparently it takes the game a good FIVE MINUTES to load when combining households now. Yeah, the Super Sim save is kinda suffering these days). So yeah -- he's almost done with all pre-StrangerVille aspirations and skills, and is well-poised to move up quickly in his acting career! Shan't be long before the Super Sim has supered himself out, I think. . .
-->Watched a "Fun With Shorts" about the post office -- silly little educational thing with some good riffs. Mostly notable in proving I am Discworld trash as I kept thinking about Going Postal while watching it. XD
-->Watched Helloween quickly run through the mini "4th Survivor" scenario with Hunk, aka the Grim Reaper -- a no-nonsense Umbrella operative who survived the massacre of his team and has to run through the lab and police station backwards to get extracted before Racoon City goes boom. Hells did a pretty impressive ten-minute run! He's also promised to show Tofu Survivor, which I believe is basically the same as Hunk's scenario, except you're a block of tofu with one weapon and a hat -- yes, this is a thing that exists. I'm seriously looking forward to it. XD
-->Got my Valice Multiverse queue done, yay. So that's in the bag.
And now it's time to answer some comments before doing the usual Friday thing. We'll see how long I can stay awake (spoiler: probably longer than I think, and longer than I should). Night all! Hopefully it won't be too miserable tomorrow. . .
