Reasonably Okay Friday?

I mean, I feel like I didn't get as much done as I would have liked, especially on those returns, but. . .well, I got on a couple of gifts, and I cleared some of the easier stuff from the bundles, so -- some progress? *shrug* Every day that the house of cards doesn't collapse is a good day, I suppose. Just gotta keep truckin'. . .
Been a pretty quiet evening too -- no activity on my subscriptions, so I ended up watching a couple of Call Me Kevin videos about the adventures of Jim Pickens (Jim creates the bar of death, where the entrance is one of those velvet rope doors -- but the velvet rope is on the INSIDE, meaning you can get in but not get out (unless you're a five-star celebrity); watches one of his children drown; goes on a camping trip to rekindle his relationship with his partner the Grim Reaper; buys his own police station and moves into an abandoned prison; and cures his vampirism. Good stuff). I also got started on Chapter 17 of "Fixing You," which starts off with nice kissing and then gets awkward as, uh, Desire wakes up. :p Basically this chapter is all Victor demonstrating what he's learned over the course of the fic, to show how far he's come. Yay character growth. And yay being past the worst happening to these two. All the side stories I have in mind involve generally MUCH more pleasant stuff.
I also caught up with my webcomics and got my queues sorted, in between listening to some music and resisting getting sucked into reading other blogs/TV Tropes. Been that kind of night. But I do have that thing to do with my friend, so it's time to clear out the inbox before diving into that. *cracks knuckles* Night all!
