Chores Saturday

Yeah, a good chunk of my Saturday was spent doing two things -- cleaning my room, and doing laundry. Mostly because I'd realized that I hadn't washed my blankets or my bathrobe in a while, and I figured I might as well get that sorted. Ended up throwing in a whole bunch of loads since the hamper was full, and my parents spent most of the day out and about on thrift/antique shop visits (Dad got a weight bench). Not exactly the hardest thing in the world, but moving clothes from washer to dryer and then folding stuff up did eat up a fair bit of time.
I also went outside for a walk later in the afternoon -- and let me tell you, it was GORGEOUS out. Pretty warm (certainly compared to what we've had) and sunny, and just -- yay. :D I did four loops around the neighborhood, with a little bit of jogging. Working my way back up to my summertime usuals. :) I'd seriously missed walking outside. There's just something -- NICER about being able to walk out in the fresh air. Hence why I want so badly for it to be spring already. I'm sick of the winter "cooped up" feeling.
Of course, all this "real world" activity means I didn't get much done online -- hell, I didn't even touch any of my games today. I meant to, but between the chores, a late lunch, my walk, and catching up with all the stuff I missed yesterday because I was a red-cursed mess. . .there just wasn't time. Ah well, maybe it's for the best I didn't stress myself out with poking at Fallout 4. Save it for when I'm over the period hump and a little less emotional. And I do have a Sims 4 buffer if worse comes to worst on that. I did get a couple things done, though:
-->Took some time when I first got online to answer all the stuff in my inbox (a bunch of review replies, and the RP comments I missed from the other night). Wanted to complete all that first thing.
-->Re-edited one of my old "Londerland Bloodlines" shorts to reflect a cast change I made after the initial writing (namely, I've added Bonejangles/Sam to the "Giovanni zombies" rescued so I can have LizJangles as well as Vemilicia in that universe). Took a while ("short" was longer than I realized), but I think the new version is much better as well as being more compliant with how I see the verse now.
-->Watched a Fun With Shorts about effective writing (in which the whole schtick was a bunch of teenagers planning a fundraiser party for replacing the lights in their "social room," meaning they could just throw some actors into a badly-lit room without fear XD), and a video from the lady who keeps popping up in my YouTube recommendations for Bloodlines 2 content (her name is Outstar, and she was the one who summed up the Tender launch party/Bloodlines 2 announcement event), talking about how she thinks that all the controversial stuff popping up in interviews (such as allowing players to pick pronouns in the character creator, and making sure to do more research on mental illness, and trying to avoid the whole 'male gaze power fantasy' thing the original kind of indulged in (with the crazy breast sizes of some of the ladies, for example)) is all for the good of the game. A view I agree with, so that was nice. :p
-->Posted the latest Scene From Secundus -- an old entry from my 25 Foods list! This week is #20, Mustard. Has received some editing, though it happily did not need a total reworking like many of my other chapters. Hopefully that's a streak that will continue with my other fics in this series!
And now I'm all caught up on my Valice Multiverse questions, so let me go around and answer the latest round of DW comments. Can't stay up too late, though -- bowling tomorrow! Hopefully I'll get at least one strike. . . Night all!
