Weather wasn't as nice, admittedly (still really warm, but cloudier and getting a bit misty near the mid-afternoon), and we had some annoyance this evening with the internet suddenly getting spotty (this had BETTER not be a sign of things to come this week), but I managed to be rather more productive in my usual sense:

-->Played Sims 4 before lunch -- Chell, Wheatley, and Geeker celebrated Harvestfest! With Erwin and Dario coming over as their special guests. Unfortunately, Erwin and Dario proved to be in TERRIBLE moods (not particularly conducive to improving friendships/romantic prospects respectively) and Erwin ended up stripping naked at one point (I THINK he was planning to shower in the rain when I interrupted by calling him to the Grand Meal). Also, both Chell and Geeker upset the holiday gnomes (WHEATLEY somehow managed to appease his), so I decided "screw it" and had Chell go on a kicking spree. They had to do a lot of cleaning and fixing afterwards, but worth it to get my own back on those temperamental little bastards. And they still fully completed the holiday, so that was nice. :) A good ending to my time with them -- and now I get to go back to my Valice family, yay~

-->Caught up on my subscription videos:

A) The Sim Supply's next episode of Super Sim Challenge -- Max FINALLY completed the Master Actor aspiration with a Gold movie gig, so he now only has the StrangerVille aspiration to go! Which James is planning on combining with maxing out the Military career, so that's cool. Currently, though, he still has one last level to complete the Acting career, so a lot of the episode was James running Max's new StrangerVille diner and desperately trying to keep the chaos of two emotional toddlers, a neglectful mother (who once again got herself eaten by the cow plant), and a constantly dirty dog to a dull roar while he waited for the next gig. XD It is kind of cool to see Max just, you know, living life. It's not as dramatic as some of the stuff that's happened in the past, but -- well, not every day can be super, even if you're a Super Sim. (ESPECIALLY if you're a Super Sim on the verge of running out of things to do. . .those new packs had better come out quick!)

B) The Sim Supply's next episode of his Sims 2 LP, which started off with some major house renovations to improve -- well, the outside at least. The inside -- the floor plan is better, but the furniture is still pretty crap. This family always lacks for the money, seriously. James spending it all on sweet rides with awful paint jobs (aka a new car) does not help. XD To be fair, they're not doing TOO bad -- Eggton in particular is riding high, with some new love interests out on the town and some more promotions (James has been SUPER lucky with chance cards this LP). Brentnall's mainly concentrating on earning skills for scholarships; Doona aged up into a toddler and is getting mobbed by loving family members constantly (much to James's distaste), and Nina is pregnant and falling asleep in her food. XD Hey, I said they weren't doing TOO bad. :p

C) Helloween's latest Secret of Mana 2 set -- the class changes have arrived! With sprite palette swaps and new abilities -- such as Carlie getting the ability to heal EVERYONE at once, and some actually offensive spells! Duran's also got magic too now -- the ability to buff his sword with various elemental powers. And Angela's picked up some great new Dark magic that just WRECKS people weak to it.

And damn, did they need these upgrades -- after fighting their way through the snowfields to pick up the water/ice spirit, they headed into the desert to grab Salamando, and had to face down DINOSAURS. Among other creatures, but man -- imagine having to fight your way through hoards of triceratops! Good thing Angela had the magical capabilities to fuck them up. And then there was a boss fight between our two favorite hard-as-balls ninjas, Bill and Ben -- Hells got the party through it, but it took a FUCKLOAD of healing. Wooof. We'll see what happens when they enter the Valley of Flames, where Salamando actually lives. . .

D) Helloween's latest Metro Exodus set, which was mostly "exploring question marks on the map, getting random loot, and shooting up slavers." That last was the most interesting part of the set -- Hells sneaking into one of the rusted ships they use as bases, stealth-shooting people (after an initial fail when he was spotted too early), then going full ham on the last of the group and getting himself a minigun in the process. :D And making sure to free the slaves, since he's a good guy. He also managed to stumble across the main baddie of this section, the Baron! . . .who was sitting by himself by a cliff with a couple of mannequins with guns, acting like there were other people around. Helloween was confused and worried he'd somehow stumbled across something too early, but the comments seem to indicate the Baron (who is hiding out while a body double does his radio broadcasts and suchlike) is just a bit cracked. So Hells should feel free to shoot the asshole like he did. Twice. XD So that's nice.

E) I also watched a Call Me Kevin video (Cooking Simulator, which he was hilariously bad at -- but to be fair, I doubt I'd be any better, given it relies a lot on putting very specific amounts into specific dishes, and also the menu appears to be borked in the version he's using), and a couple of videos on the Malkavian's possible dialogues with Heather Poe (your potential ghoul) and Samantha (the person from your pre-Embrace life who recognizes you in Hollywood) in Bloodlines. What can I say, I like the game.

-->Which ended up informing my writing today -- did another snippet for my Londerland Bloodlines AU. My idea for the endgame, which was mostly LaCroix monologuing about how things could have been so much better if Alice had just fallen in line, how he was going to do great things with her, blah blah blah -- and then Alice scaring the shit out of him by appearing right outside his penthouse window. Having SCALED THE BUILDING WITH MOUNTAIN CLIMBING GEAR WHILE OBFUSCATED. XD Look, I just think it's hilarious and I hope other people will agree.

And I've just gotten my Valice Multiverse queue done, and two of the emails in my inbox checked off -- time to take care of the others and hit the sheets. Short week this week, yay~ And even shorter tomorrow, though only by a half-hour. *shrug* Take what I can get. Night all!
