crossover_chick: Doc looking very sarcastically over his shoulder (BTTF: in a sarcastic mood)

Oh cripes, it was SO FREAKING MISERABLE today it's not even funny. :( Like someone took a day out of early March and plopped it down in the middle of May. Worst part is, the heat at work has either been shut off or is just plain not working, so it's not really any better indoors than it is out! My coworker and I have been relying on a little space heater as to not freeze our butts off. :( The weatherpeople are still talking about how it's supposed to get up to 70 or so by this weekend, and I really hope they're right. . .but on the other hand, there was a weatherman on tonight's episode of "Would I Lie To You?" who TRUTHFULLY didn't realize until his mid-30s that lambs were baby sheep. Kind of wrecks your trust in the meteorological profession, doesn't it?

Anyway, weather aside it was an okay day. Got some more stuff done vis-a-vis the returns -- we're slowly but surely getting them sorted. The parish returns remain a thing, but I'm hoping to get more done on that tomorrow. Dinner was okay -- Mom tried a new pancake recipe that wasn't great, sadly -- fortunately both Dad and I had pancakes with something in (blackberries for him, chocolate chips for me), which helped improve them a little. I got another page or so done on "Secundus 2," with Victor vs Gordon -- Gordon is having a hard time believing that Victor a) willingly stayed in Secundus and b) managed to marry and impregnate a girl. Despite all the evidence being right in front of him. And he's going to have an even harder time believing Victor's a Touched now. Until Victor pulls out the scary voice. . . >:D That's gonna be a fun bit to write.

Videos were just catching up with The Sim Supply -- one where he revisited the Bigwallet family (specifically, the Seasons/Get Famous generations) and just played a little of their life (focusing mainly on Richie -- who cooked a ton of food and hosted a short dinner party to progress further in his aspiration -- and Luna -- who did a fair bit of woodworking and took a sick Scooby to the vet); and one where he used this tier creator that's apparently become popular to rank the various Sims 4 DLCs into tiers of quality (with Laundry Day Stuff, Parenthood, and Seasons being the top, and My First Pet Stuff being the pits -- I was pleased to see him put Vampires into A rank based solely on quality, despite him not liking the life state! I feel like I would have rearranged his positioning of some of the other stuff, though -- particularly Get Together, which has the rarely-used clubs system but easily the best world, and Get Famous, which has some cool mechanics but a fairly limited world). He admits that he's kind of struggling with stuff to do now that it's been a while since the last new DLC/major game update. . .hopefully we ARE getting a new expansion pack with EA Play on the horizon! I think the fans might riot if University doesn't show its face soon. . .

And I just finished up my tumblr queues for the night -- Newcrest Adventures ready to go on Victor Luvs Alice, asks and threads ready to go on Valice Multiverse. Time to empty out the inbox and hit the sheets -- I really do have to start getting to bed earlier again. I may not ever have a truly "healthy" sleep schedule, but I can at least improve upon the one I've got. Also planning when I'm gonna take my next day off work. . .a four-day weekend may be necessary to truly handle that Watch Later queue I'm developing.

But that's for the future -- for now, comments. Night all!
