Yeah, hit the 80s without a cloud in the sky. Last day of my long weekend and the weather FINALLY cooperates. Meh. Well, I suppose I should be grateful I got the chance to enjoy it without having to drag myself to work. Got in a full walk, AND hiked up to one of the local Dunkin Donuts for my first frozen hot chocolate of the year. :) Couldn't let the whole weekend go by without a treat, could I? (Though I guess the homemade hot fudge sundae after Mystic counted too. . .still.)

Pretty chill day all around, all things concerned:

-->Got all my screenshots for my next Newcrest Adventures update sorted -- hey, I may not have played Sims 4 this weekend, but I do have a buffer I can report on! Of a single day, but I'm hoping by this upcoming weekend my mod situation will look better and I'll be able to dive in with less fear. At least I know MC Command Center is in decent shape. . .

-->Watched the last episode of "A Voice From The Dark," by Linkara and friends -- the evil plot has been foiled, and by -- well, I don't want to spoil it. Just know that it's not what you're expecting. XD Also includes some good heart-to-hearts between Linkara and Marzgurl, some ass-kicking and name-taking, and an excellent "we could have avoided all this" moment from one of the newbies. XD A solid end to the radio drama -- I think they did a great job in putting it all together. (And now everyone in the comments is calling for a comic adaptation, and for Linkara to review said adaptation XD)

-->Watched some more riddles from Jay and Kassie -- more improbable murders and weirdly dark logic puzzles. 7 Seconds is always good for those! And it's always nice to see Jay and Kassie try to make sense out of the riddle logic (or Jay attempt to justify why he thinks two people stranded on a desert island need to get naked to attract a plane XD)

-->Watched a list of "games that have not aged well in the public consciousness" by RabbidLuigi -- FNAF is apparently up to 8 installments now, who knew? Still milking that cash cow dry. . .

-->Played some Fallout 4 -- I've completed the first "Brotherhood of Steel" quest by helping Paladin Danse get a Deep-Range Transmitter from a certain location (shooting up a bunch of raiders and Institute Synths along the way). Got myself a sweet gun and an offer to join the Brotherhood out of it! However, I turned the latter down, as I'm PRETTY sure the Brotherhood is a bunch of techno-racists against even friendly synths (android-style robots), and I'm going to be making friends with at least one of that lot once I actually make it back to the PLOT, so. . .plus Preston of the Minutemen was RIGHT THERE and I didn't want to let him down. Victor seems more the kind of guy who wanders around and helps everybody, rather than being more military-based. (Plus he already has his own suit of power armor, thank you Danse.) I went back to the Red Rocket to perform some more armor upgrades and get myself situated to FINALLY go and check on those Oberland settlers. They're probably wondering where the hell these supposed Minutemen are. XD

-->Wrote some more on "Secundus 2" -- Clara is joining the picnic now that the danger is over -- and, happily, Richard was able to save her telescope from the horrors of the ravine. She's already fitting in quite well with everybody, which is nice. Some surprise from seeing Richard, of course, but he tends to give most people who haven't met him before a start. :p And she recovered nicely -- though I AM giving her an edge with her family history (lepidopterist father, as per the extended canon, and bringing back her uncle Ulysses from TAS -- yes, I will occasionally use things from that awful cartoon -- as Reanimated). Gonna be lots of talking and lots of "her and Doc clearly have a thing already" going on. XD

-->Watched CallMeKevin's latest Sims 4 video -- he has Island Living, so it's time for Jim Pickens to become a mermaid! A very thick mermaid, as Kevin has found how much you can alter an occult's other form. :P Jim as a merman tends to seduce people with his siren song, then drag them under the water to not-quite-drown them. :p And then actually drowns people in his pool at home. Which, uh, for some reason does nothing for his hydration levels. O.o I smell game bug? Although he kept getting error messages while playing from MC Command Center, so maybe it's a weird mod conflict. . .

-->Watched the first episode of The Sim Supply's newest Rags to Riches -- Island Edition! Banana R. Bigwallet is taking up the mantle of the RtR Sim -- and, because James thinks it's funny, she's living at the base of the freaking volcano on Sulani. XD AND he's using the "Off The Grid" lot trait to make life even harder for himself. It has been kind of a rocky start -- he's been struggling with what he wants to do for a job (he wants her to do the new Conservationist career, but he wants her actual MONEY to come from collectibles she finds from the beach/the volcano (lava bombs are a thing, but once they cool, they can be cracked open for gems and minerals and suchlike); he's settled on doing a couple of part-time jobs to earn a bit of capital for now); the game crashed the first time he tried to sunbathe (to be fair, he also hadn't updated his mods, so that's PROBABLY on him); and Banana is lacking a number of life necessities, meaning she's already wet herself and is always on the verge of passing out from no bed. Plus the whole "who is going to feed me" situation. . . (Though she does have a canoe she can lounge on for a BIT of energy, and a waterfall nearby for her showering needs. And there's some plants near her home that will eventually grow food. So it's not ALL bad.)

And I just took care of my Valice Multiverse queue (er, such as it was -- no activity at ALL, weird), so it's time to take care of the inbox and hit the sheets! Gotta push my way through a full week of work this week, bleeeh. But on the plus side, it's the LAST full week of work for the summer. Once July starts, then we have a four-day weekend, then half-day Fridays, which I'm already thinking about the best ways to take advantage of. . . Buuut that's for when I don't have to get to bed. XD Night all!
