crossover_chick: Doc in goggles and holding a big old plug with the words "feeling sparky..." (BTTF: feeling sparky/creative)

Not my room, but my workspace -- I didn't have a lot to do today, so I decided to clear out my desk drawers, as I had a lot of old stuff clogging them up and could use the space. Dumped a ton of old papers to be shredded, and tossed some odds and ends. Including a salt shaker that was stuck back in the middle drawer. O.o The person who used to sit there apparently really liked her salt! But hey, it covered the afternoon (along with helping my coworker with some stuff), and my drawers are now much more organized, so yay there.

Evening post-exercise and dinner was largely taken up with the following:

-->Got the latest chapter of "A Wedding, A Wedding, We're Going To Have A Wedding" up: And Magic Makes It All Complete! Enjoy Victor and Alice learning magic, Dr. Fixxler being a bit of a troll again, and good old friendship times. :) This may have been an unexpected chapter to add to the story, but well worth.

-->Watched the latest episode of "Rags To Riches Island Edition" from James -- Banana is no longer a mermaid! After being "cured," then immediately becoming a mermaid again because James couldn't immediately tell if she was cured or not. Because, you know, mermaids don't really get ANY special animations letting you know when they become mermaids. . . Man, I like mermaids in theory, but a lot of their practice seems to kinda suck. Especially when compared to vampires. *anxiously eyes the upcoming Realm of Magic game pack* Please be good, please be good. . . Anyway, James changed her because a) he didn't really like her being a mermaid, and b) because of a glitch with mermaids meaning they can't pass on their genetics. A glitch that was patched JUST TODAY. (No, seriously, EA dropped the pre-Moschino patch on us today. Gonna have to check my mods this weekend! On the plus side, sim-created photographs can now be placed on tables and suchlike, so that's FINALLY cool.)

ANYWAY, the point is, James wanted a baby with the elemental boyfriend, and wanted to be sure that Banana would pass on her genetics. So boom, no more mermaid, and pregnant with Elemental Mana child! We have also spent the Elemental Boyfriend's money on a proper storefront/house for the couple, and a proper greenhouse for the banana farm. Elemental Boyfriend (I'm sorry, I can't remember his name) is earning his keep by using the "gift of Sulani" to improve the plants quicker and helping out Banana in the store. It's going pretty good -- selling island dishes still yields no money, but she's sold some treasures for some decent cash, and the plantains in the fridge are still getting bought, one by one by one. . . Now all she needs to get Mr. Chow Chow back from Canoe Reefs, and maybe have a kid with HIM too. . .

-->Watched a Deli video with James -- not Sims this time, though! Instead, it was a commenter-issued challenge -- have James do Deli's make-up! Which. . .didn't turn out as bad as you might think. He mainly made her eyebrows way too dark, and got way, WAY too into contouring her nose. And suffered the slings and arrows of clumpy mascara. But she hardly looked hideous, so I think that counts as a win.

-->Did the tumblr queues -- bunch of asks for Valice Multiverse, story and song stuff for Victor Luvs Alice. At least I'm good for the night there!

So yeah, that's that! Now I just have to get through the half-day tomorrow, and I'm out for the weekend! Which will definitely be better than the last one simply because I'm not going to accidentally give myself a head injury. :p Night all!
