The sort of busy that feels productive and not "why can't you people ever do anything on your own?" Got the GL sorted, finished up some things that needed the boss's approval (he's back from his vacation), answered some emails, adjusted some gifts. . .made the day go by, at least! Especially since I couldn't get out at lunch because of rain. Sort of off and on through most of the day, and kind of muggy to boot. It's not HOT, but I'm semi-tempted to put on the AC just to dry my room out a bit for sleeping. We'll see, I suppose. . .

Anyway, afternoon was fairly productive as well:

-->Got a workout video in -- though the mugginess meant a LOT of sweating. Ugh, I'm glad it's supposed to dry out again after tomorrow!

-->Wrote another bit on "Secundus 2" -- I've had to completely redo one of the "villain POV" sections, since I realized that, by involving Strickland more, I've forced a change of locale -- from the desert outside Hill Valley to the jail. I couldn't see Strickland letting the Tannens go after witnessing one shove somebody else and having two reports that the other tried to shoot a third person. Fortunately I can still get Barkis in there to threaten them, but it's a bit of a mental shift from my first draft. Took a minute to get started! But it's working now, happily.

-->Watched another lot of Sims videos:

A) Deli building a giant farming estate for a farming family she created in CAS -- and trust me, it is a THING. The house itself isn't giant, though it's pretty comfortable for two parents, a pair of kids, a dog, and a cat, but the farm around it. . . using plant rooms she found on the gallery, Deli actually made a full-fledged orchard and farm! With fruit trees and harvestable plants and everything! James didn't go that far when he built the Bigwallet Farm! (Though, admittedly, that's because he didn't want to deal with the upkeep -- her family is going to be working HARD to keep all those plants alive!) Fairly awesome, I gotta say.

B) GrayStillPlays doing another "how long can a Sim survive in X situation" challenge, this time using the Fear Mod! All the Sims were cowards, and the idea was to see how long they lasted in a house designed to spook, startle, and scare them at every opportunity. And also set them on fire, because of course. :p It was a pretty amusing thing to watch, especially since one of the randomly rolled Sims ended up in the gnome costume. XD Though they weren't the last to die -- that honor went to Stephanie, who was so unkillable she VANISHED in the middle of a fire instead of burning to death. Props, Steph, props.

C) Call Me Kevin playing around more with the zombie apocalypse he's started off in Jim Pickens's world. Today's objective -- zombie restaurant! Because apparently either this mod or a different one he's picked up allows you to CHOP UP SIMS AND SERVE THEM AS MEALS. You even have hands and feet and eyeballs on the plate! Unfortunately, Kevin ran into some problems in this quest, as restaurants are total idiots at best -- aka, the first one didn't even work properly (none of Kevin's actual employees ever showed up to work), and the second one -- well, turns out having an active zombie apocalypse is not good for your workforce. XD Jim kept having to cure his employees so they'd actually do their jobs and not just eat customers. Though he didn't really seem to care -- he just kept on dancing behind the host podium. XD And now the Grim Reaper is apparently a zombie too, which is -- probably bad for Kevin's game, but looks amusing, at least. XD

-->Got my tumblr queues sorted -- mostly asks on Valice Multiverse; a short Newcrest Adventures update and a new fairy tale AU for Thursday on Victor Luvs Alice. Hooray for being a little ahead on things! Especially since I've got the day off on Thursday and we're planning on going mini-golfing.

-->And I answered the comments in my inbox! New ones have appeared by now, of course, but that's just the way of things. :p

And now it's time to wrap things up as best I can and hit the sheets. Gotta another day to get through tomorrow -- hopefully it'll be another halfway decent one. *fingers crossed* G'night all!
