Another Busy Day

crossover_chickAnd I'm running a bit behind thanks to accidentally diving into the Sluggy Freelance archives while catching up on webcomics, so let's try to sum it up in bullet points:
-->Managed to get a few things off my plate at work! Of course, now I have other things on it, but that's just how work works. At least I got an hour near the end of the day to just unwind doing mostly maintenance stuff. Sometimes it's nice to just update records without worrying too much about gifts that need to be moved, or schedules that need adjusting. And I got this upcoming Monday off, so that's nice. Something to look forward to.
-->Another double walk day -- bit on the cooler side, but still really nice. I'd happily take more days like this. Though I am glad it's supposed to get a bit warmer over the weekend, if only because we're going out.
-->Got another solid chunk done on "Secundus 2" -- Victor's been yanked onto the runaway train by Barkis, and his Grasshopper Teapot has hopped after him, leading to him coming up with what he HOPES is a good idea to save everyone. Fortunately, since I'm writing it, it is. Now I just have to make sure Buford's taken care of. . .
-->Watched some silly videos, including:
A) James messing around in CAS with grown-up Column and Plahn Tayne (and Ticket, though all he really did was change the coat to a more chow-chow type and give him some eyebrows) -- he went black and witchy with Column, and ABSOLUTELY GOOFY with Plahn Tayne. I mean, she's wearing a bowler and a MONOCLE in her everyday outfit. XD Must be seen to be believed. XD
B) RabbidLuigi's list of good easy games (where you can't die, or even take damage sometimes -- Animal Crossing topped the list, since it's such a favorite life simulator. For everyone who's first exposure to it wasn't a horror story, that is. "The Terrible Secret Of Animal Crossing" put me off that damn game for life, I swear.
C) Two Call Me Kevin videos, the first a "fixing up my home lot in Minecraft while continually interrupted because apparently no one wants me recording this thing today" (it was just as amusing as it sounds); the second a "playing a goofy bear simulator where the bear can wear a funny hat and needs to be smart enough to actually eat certain foods, and also Kevin has a feud with a butterfly that got into his room and landed on him like a Disney Princess" (it was even MORE amusing than it sounds XD)
-->Got both my Victor Luvs Alice and Valice Multiverse queues sorted, hooray! Fortunately neither was too hard -- having the pictures all ready to go for the former was useful indeed, yes. And it wasn't a particularly busy day for Emmett and Nikal, so the text part wasn't too hard either. And Valice Multiverse wasn't too busy, so that was good too. Keeping up with things!
-->And I answered the stuff in my inbox, so I'm good to go for bed, I think! Hopefully tomorrow won't be too difficult. . .at least the weather's supposed to hold! So long as I can keep getting my walks in and keep making good progress on "Secundus 2," I'll be happy. *nods* Night all!
