Not Too Bad Tuesday

crossover_chickAt the very least, traffic was better! Didn't have to cut through the city to get home! Hopefully it'll stay that way. . .and it was a pretty quiet day overall. More talk about roster maintenance and updating databases and suchlike -- we're trying to find a good balance between the old system and what we hope to do in the future. Mainly, though, it was just me getting through some returns, working on some obituaries and the like, and all that sort of fun stuff. And getting in a walk at lunch -- trying to keep up with getting some sort of exercise every day!
Anyway, evening consisted mainly of the following:
-->Getting my queue for Victor Luvs Alice all sorted -- the Newcrest Adventures update is done, and I have a starter post for Thursday! Now I just have to decide on what I'm doing for the rest of the week. . . Though I may just report that I've started "Londerland Bloodlines" to get myself some breathing room for the next post I had planned for that verse. . .
-->Speaking of "Londerland Bloodlines," got another page on that -- Alice trying to figure out what the hell is going on while LaCroix pontificates. She's seeing the Nocturne Theater as the Dreary Lane Theater from the Deluded Depths, which isn't helping matters. Helloween's LPs are gonna be lifesavers for the dialogue, I'm sure. Or, at least, the base dialogue, before I start changing everything because Alice doesn't react to things like the game protagonist. XD
-->Watched two Sims videos:
A) James Turner going back to his "Rags To Witches" LP -- he NARROWLY avoided having Column age up by speed-brewing a fresh rejuvenation potion (after discovering he could by the crystal he needed online), and even then it took two tries because the first time he wasn't quite quick enough and she got cursed, meaning he couldn't use the potion without a heavy chance of it backfiring before she got the "age up" interaction. And then her attempts to cause some chaos (namely burgliate some stuff from her neighbors) nearly got her killed via overload -- FORTUNATELY one of the potions she'd drunk recently was a resurrection potion, meaning she got saved. Still, James, better keep an eye on that charge! BUT she is making good use of her new copypasto spell -- she copypastoed a BUNCH of potions to make easy money, AND was able to copypasto her money tree (which still hasn't sprouted, but -- fingers crossed!). And she's almost completed the spellbook, which is cool too. :D She's just burning through the magical gameplay! (Which, uh, is probably not the BEST thing, but still.)
B) Fantayzia doing a new "Slice of Life" mod update video -- now we have a drama system in place, with specific moodlets and buffs for teens! Namely, teens can be popular, invisible, or bullied, and throw teen parties (even without specific friends to invite!) and host study sessions. There's also pills they can take to buff up, gain weight, boost skill-building, perk up, sleep better. . .this is an interesting system, but they tend to take one of the pills, "Wonderland," WAY too often autonomously, so I'm not quite so keen on it. But it is a good look at just how much care and effort people put into their mods! Seriously, I'd be playing around with Slice of Life if I wasn't wondering if University was coming out just next month. . .signs seem to be pointing to yes? We'll see if we get any official announcements anytime soon. . .
-->And I've just made sure my Valice Multiverse queue is sorted -- not too much going on there, but enough to keep the queue going pretty strong. :)
Now it is time for answering the comments left in my inbox, and heading to bed. At least tomorrow's already Wednesday. And we're looking at a Halloweeny weekend -- my Mom already got some cornstalks and some pumpkins to decorate with, and we should pull out our ghosts and stuff on Saturday or Sunday. And get my Halloween costume too, yay~ So that's something to look forward to. :) But gotta get through the rest of the week first! Night all!
