Things were thrown off a bit thanks to it being. . .not the best Saturday:

1. Started out warm, but it was so windy that my attempt at opening my windows went -- poorly. As in, I had them open for five minutes, then a HUGE gust caused my curtains to start attacking my nightstand, forcing me to shut them again before anything could get knocked over. And then it started getting colder again, so we ended up shutting all the windows in the end anyway. Meh.

2. Dad's tooth is hurting him again -- bad, too. All he could eat today was some chowder and mashed potatoes. Not much is helping. Mom hopes to get him to go to the dentist on Monday, but. . .we'll see how it goes tomorrow.

3. Mom's heel started hurting her again. Apparently it was okay in her sneakers with her new insoles, but once she was out of them. . .it's not anywhere near as bad as Dad's tooth, but still notable.

4. I've had some annoying clumsy moments, such as dropping my smoothie cup while washing it and splashing water everywhere, and getting toothpaste in my eye while brushing my teeth this morning (rinsed it out right away, but DAMN did it sting.)

5. On my birthday, I decided I was tired of leaving my Victor and Alice dolls on my chair whenever I went to bed -- surely, if I just laid them on top of some of the other toys and let them be, they'd be fine, and I wouldn't have to worry about messing them up somehow! So that's what I've been doing -- they've been next to me in the bed, under the covers, atop some of my other toys.

Today, while doing the laundry, Mom found a yarn that clearly came from Victor's hair in my sheets. I have no idea how it fell out, but -- they're going back on the chair tonight. *sigh*

So yeah, it ended up being a little tense and unhappy in here. <.< >.> But I did manage to fully complete two items on my list, and mostly complete the third:

Get the cleaning done: Finished most of the dusting before lunch; did the last of that and the Swiffering and vacuuming after lunch. Room wasn't particularly dirty, but now it shall stay cleaner for the next couple of weeks.

Play Bloodlines: Finished up the Fu Syndicate stuff -- though I had an interesting scare while I was going through the Mandarin's little "maze" of experiment rooms. One of the rooms has three spinning blade things in it, intended to try and slice Alice apart because he wanted to check her limb regeneration. Now, I believe these things are supposed to be moving up and down the floor on tracks. . .but mine weren't. The blades were spinning, but the machines themselves were static. For a minute, I was terrified the game had glitched out, especially since I couldn't remember how you were supposed to get past the room!

Then I looked it up on the wiki and discovered I had to shoot some electric panels in the back, and once I did that, the game proceeded on as normal. Cue me switching from panic mode to "this would be a hilarious glitch to put in the story!" mode. XD So yeah, now we have The Room of Mechanical Faults, where Alice gets to taunt the Mandarin a little as she disables his only semi-functional machines. XD He also glitched out when I got to the final room and blew up the observation window -- he ended up stuck running in place into the wall, when he's supposed to flee down to where Barbarus is, pull out a gun, and do a final stand. Nope -- I just hit him with a Vision of Death, and all was well! XD I also managed to see the e-mails showing that he and Ming were planning on having Wong Ho killed (though it took adding another point into Dexterity to increase my lockpicking prowess to the point where I could Bloodbuff my way to victory), and to get the squashed Odious Chalice Gary will be later asking for as part of his poster quest (which I'm just doing for funsies -- dunno if it'll be part of the main story or not). So the main plot has been advanced, I've convinced Wong Ho to leave town for his own safely, and parked Alice back in her Downtown haven. I still have some side quests to do in Chinatown, but I want to get the special XP-boosting item that the Giovanni have first, so Italian Dinner is next! Though I'm not sure how this is going to work with my timeline. . . I may have to fiddle with some things later on, as story!Alice isn't going to be worrying about having enough XP. I'll figure something out!

Catch up on OXBox/OXtra videos: This is the one that's mostly completed. I had four videos in the Watch Later, and I got to three of them:

A) A list video regarding things that video games have said will happen in 2020 (including a drug plague that will be stopped by one man in a trench coat with a gun; military nanosuits that enhance strength and speed being invented; Tokyo being invaded by dragons; and oh yes, our second shot at hoverboards thanks to a version featuring in a Ninja Turtles game! Can we get on that one plz)

B) The 13 Best Moments of OXventure in 2019 (Oxventure being the regular D&D campaigns done by the OXBox and OXtra gang with their friend and DM Johnny. I don't actually follow this, but I'm starting to think I need to find the time to catch up, as the moments on display were FUCKING HILARIOUS. I especially loved Egbert (Mike's character, a dragonborn paladin) trying to get something out of a drunken man, who used a chess analogy, only for Egbert to ask "What's Chess?"; Merilwen and Dob (Ellen and Luke) doing a fastball special on a guy that involved Merilwen (a druid who can assume animal forms) turning into a cat, Dob flinging her at their enemy, and Merilwen then TURNING INTO A BEAR ONCE SHE HIT HIM; and the gang fighting an extremely-good-looking pirate, and Egbert using a magical command to make him disrobe. XD Corazon (Andy's character) promptly stole his clothing once they killed the guy. Oh, and Dob convincing an unnamed guard who was keeping them locked up by his nefarious employers to JOIN them instead of getting killed, leading to their DM scrambling to give this NPC a freaking backstory XD)

C) Five Favorite Hitman 2 moments from 2019 (Yes, Mike ONCE AGAIN beating Andy in Ghost Mode made the list! As did Mike going Dark Souls in the Sgail level. XD Also muffin mania during one of the other missions. I love that game and this group playing it. XD)

The one I didn't get to before going to do this and the RP thing and all that is the other Hitman 2 video -- The Bartholomew Hornswoggle, a pirate-themed escalation. Will watch that tomorrow before Sims! XD

I also got up the final Christmas-themed Scene From Secundus: the "carols" prompt, which ended up probably the least rewritten of the shorts, since I already liked most of it. XD Still fairly proud of those parody carols too! But glad to finally leave Christmas behind and move onto finishing off the current crop of Scenes so I can start posting "Secundus 2" in earnest.

And now, as stated, I'm doing some of the RP thing and other catching up on stuff. Tomorrow's itinerary -- watch "The Bartholomew Hornswoggle," watch the Sims videos I have waiting (currently three in Watch Later and one in my subscriptions -- James is back to making hour-long videos, so he must be feeling better!), and play Sims myself (maybe send Victor and Alice on a date? I did do some minor makeovers on Wonderland Park, and spring has sprung at last in game. . .). Again, shouldn't be a hard to-do list. . .I just hope things improve around her for Sunday! At the very least, if Dad's tooth could ease up on him. . . Fingers crossed, folks! Night!
