Trying to sort through returned mail and fix problems as we discover them at work -- and trust me, there are always problems to fix. Much as there is always something to pull you away from what you're currently working on. . .at least my coworker's feeling better! And it was once again just warm enough to go for a lunch walk. The rest of the week is definitely not going to be good for that, so glad I got out while I can!

Back at home, my mom's been taken off her feet for the rest of the week -- she's got a heel spur and got a shot to fix it, so she can't walk around except for what's strictly necessary. So it appears I'll be on dinner heat-up duty for the rest of the week -- I can dig it. Want her to get better, after all. The one sad bit is that we can't go bowling this weekend as planned -- have to knock it back to next weekend. Ah well, it'll be Daylight Savings that weekend, so if we go in the afternoon like we planned to after last time, perhaps we'll be able to enjoy some extra afternoon sunshine.

Accomplishments of the evening:

-->Got some more of the puzzle done -- we've filled in the sunken ship, and I've gotten a good chunk sorted on the dolphins. I'm thinking we might actually have this thing finished by this week!

-->Started edits on Chapter 5 of "Secundus 2" -- Doc's shown off his giant refrigeration machine from BTTF III, and now everyone's talking about weather differences between California and England, and how the mayor really needs to calm down a bit with his hatred of Doc and Marty. Shenanigans shall ensue shortly!

-->FINALLY listened to those two Poets of the Fall songs I've been meaning to check out -- they were awesome, but then, what do you expect :p

-->Watched a bunch of Sims-related videos:

A) onlyabidoang's list of 50 little details from Sims 2 that didn't make it into the next two generations of the game -- things like Sims being able to properly step over toys, opening cabinets to get cooking equipment, running up stairs, properly lounging on couches, reacting to player-directed activities according to their personalities, hair physics. . . Talk about making a girl nostalgic! And kind of mad that all these little details have been smoothed out in the current generation.

B) Related, Plumbella playing The Sims 2 Freetime! She messed around with the genie in a premade family, then made a little kid version of her Simself with a mom she based off one she saw on the TV show "Dancing Moms," and got her Simself into ballet and the mom into pottery! And then visited a secret hobby club lot with her Simself, aged her up to a teenager, got into a spat with the pizza delivery guy, and tried to kill him via cheats -- and accidentally killed herself via satellite. It was beautiful. XD

C) Plumbella playing MySims again -- she thought her previous video on it would be a one off, but nope, the urge came upon her again! Most of the episode was her struggling to complete a task for the mayor (a podium painted with red apple essence), all while bitching about said mayor, getting confused as to how you completed tasks, and getting lost in the town. Girl, I feel you. XD

D) LilSimsie tries out the "Slice of Mod" by kawaiistacie! I just saw this off to the side, and while I don't usually watch LilSimsie, I figured it was worth a look. Certainly showed off how weird this mod can get, and just how much stuff is packed into it! Of course, that was balanced out by a whole comment thread complaining about how aggressive the mod can get, and how people have had problems with lots of different parts of it. . .as per usual, most of my love of mods is more theoretical than practical, but if I ever do download the thing, I'll have to carefully curate my experience!

-->Got my own latest Newcrest Adventures update sorted in my queue, yay~ Just have to make sure I finish off my house swap adventures for the McFlys this weekend so I have one for next week!

-->Got my Valice Multiverse queue sorted as well, yay~

And with that all wrapped up, it's time to get ready for bed. Over the hump tomorrow! Fingers crossed it remains a decent week. Night all!
