Another house to finish

crossover_chickAfter poking around on the web for awhile, I decided to play some more Sims 2. Went to Twin Oaks Park, made the Mathews family, and spent some time making the Von Nostrands a house. They've got a pretty snazzy pad -- two stories (don't ask me what I was thinking), nice paint/wallpaper/panelling, good furniture, the works. I still have to finish the living room and outdoor area, but I think I'm pretty cool.
-M2: I don't get it, though. I saw you use motherlode, but you gave them the cheap toilet.-
Ahh -- not only does it keep costs down so they can live, but father Christopher Von Nostrand is a Fortune Sim. He's going to have wants to upgrade things, so I want to be able to fulfill them.
-M2: Ooh, I see.-
Here's the families I've got so far (thanks to Imageshack.us):
-- The Von Nostrand family, Katrina Luisa (but please, call her Kat), Jane, and Christopher. This one is pretty straightforward.
-- The Mathews family, Mark Emmett and Carrie. This one is a little unique. Carrie necessarily had to be Mark's mother in the game, but as a story character, she's actually his sister.
These two guys are going to be next door neighbors, and Mark and Kat will carry on a romance. :)

Meanwhile, I will continue to work on growing up Doc. This is turning into quite the interesting neighborhood.
-VD: So, what's the story with your writing?-
*blush* I know, I know, I gotta get on the ball. But the internet is so shiny. . .
-VD: I believe your intentions are to make it shinier with your stories.-
-M: Nice one, VampDoc.-
-MDC: She still has to write Spidey.-

-D: Yeah, you have become rather overzealous in my opinion.-

Go ahead and sulk. I like Marvel, but I like BTTF more.
Oh, yes, on that note, I thought I'd mention that, for those of you who read my fanfic, I've recently redone Chapter Five in "Dark Half." I think the new version of the chapter works a lot better (and it's a tad longer too, which I like). Click Here
