Got through the day at work with plenty of handwashing and sanitizer -- we were down a coworker, but she had an upset stomach, not anything I think we need to worry about. And I don't typically touch people either at work, so. . . Hopefully she's feeling better tomorrow! *fingers crossed*

Work itself wasn't too hard -- I got some more updates done on the database, answered some e-mails, helped out with things here and there. . .pretty quiet day, for the most part. Fine by me for the day before a long weekend AND a day when I'm on my period. And now I'm at home, for three days, and we're all just hanging around the house because, well, nobody in RI wants more than five people to have COVID-19. Good thing I didn't have any plans! Though it's not like I USUALLY have plans, anyway, so. . .

Evening round-up!

-->Got a rough first draft of the gift fic I owe this month (tumblr friend's birthday on the 26th) written up! I came up with the idea in the shower, and I definitely think she'll like it. :) Just needs the usual fine-tuning. . .

-->Sims-themed night on the YouTubes:

A) Latest "Rags to Repayment" episode from James -- Bob is officially gonna have an alien kid! XD This is much funnier when it's happening to someone else. XD He's also gotten promoted again in his career -- he's up to level 5, the level he needs to be to get his cloning machine! AND he and Trash have procured all the necessary ingredients for ambrosia, so they're all set there! Once Bob makes the dish, all that's left to do is clone it, then chat up all these ghosts and get them to eat it! And THEN, maybe, we'll move back to Britechester and become a landlord. XD The Bigwallet LPs have just been getting more and more loony, I swear. . .

B) Latest Jim Pickens episode from Kevin -- the vault is running well! And by well, I mean Jim is forcing Grim to write tons of books for him; forcing Clement (the surviving Father Winter) to clean constantly; going out to clubs with what he thinks are random toddlers before Kevin abruptly realizes "no wait, that's one of Jim's kids! INTO THE VAULT WITH YOU;" and then kidnapping celebrities for said vault by luring them out by setting random spellcasters on fire, then freezing them while they're distracted by the death. XD You know, just your typical day in Kevin's Sims 4 game! XD

C) Latest Sims 4 experiment from Gray -- a Sim exhibit, to show off just how easily Sims can kill themselves! We started with six Sims (and the cats) in a 10X10 block, and for each death, Gray made a new, bigger block, with more amenities (like pools, arcade machines, and saunas). Nothing actually done to force them to kill themselves beyond provide a few means with which to do it -- his point was, even as space opened up and they had more and more stuff, Sims are just incapable of acting in a way that suggests a survival instinct. XD We had two Sims piss themselves despite available toilets and die of embarrassment, two float in the pool and drown, and one set himself on fire while cooking. Again, just your typical day in Gray's Sims 4 game. XD (Best part was when he generated some random Sims to watch and commemorate the carnage with paintings, and one of them turned out to look like Florida Man! Gray promptly dubbed him Florida Man's younger brother -- I'm calling him Panhandle Man as a result XD)

-->Got my queue on Valice Multiverse sorted, and my inbox stuff answered, w000~ So in a good spot with all of that.

And now -- just gonna hang out and read this cute webtoon someone showed me about a couple and their pregnancy. Because I can. :) Tomorrow: it's Bloodlines Friday! I'm watching the 2nd episode of "Vein Pursuit" and starting "Society for the Preservation of Professors" in my game. Hoping to catch up with at least some of my other GrayStillPlays videos as well, but I'm willing to bump those to Saturday as necessary. :p Night all!

I get to work from home today (a "just-in-case" test run scenario). So now I don't have to hide my phone because I have YouTube going, lol.

Edit: Speaking of...1082 mid-September 2019 as of 9:08am Friday the 13th. :)

Ed's work is closed. Antoinette's school is closed. Mom's retired. The only one who has to go in is me, lol. Well, I don't have to if all I'm doing is computer stuff but since Monday and Wednesday deals with The Company That Shall Not Be Named and treasury requires real signatures on the forms, I at least need to be there those days.

I had to Google it since I don't watch the news. I think we're up to 70 cases in NJ; one in my town.

Still going. 1049, getting to the end of September 2019.

We've considered it a sign of the apocalypse that the Y is closed. They don't close for ANYTHING--even their holidays is only five (Easter Sunday, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, and Christmas Day). So for them to close is Serious Business(TM).
