Mostly because Mom ended up focusing her cleaning efforts on the kitchen and bathroom -- all our stuff's been reorganized and scrubbed, which is good. I offered to help a couple of times, but she kept telling me she was good, so. . . *shrug* Guess I'm off the hook.

Anyway, without that, I ended up doing a bunch of other things, including:

-->Getting all the pictures for my Newcrest Adventures update next Wednesday -- it still ticks me off that I was so surprised by the "Memory Erase" from Andy I didn't get a proper picture of it. Kind of makes it harder to tell why I broke them up in picture form. . .but I intend to tell all in the text below, so I'll just have to live with it.

-->Got my Victor Luvs Alice queue done early, since I already knew Sunday was going to be a progress report update. . .good through Tuesday! Also went through some stuff and threw more things into my drafts, so I've got ideas for upcoming posts. :)

-->Played Sims 4 -- and finished up A-Maze-Ing Wonderland! I decided that the "Looking Glass Station" should at least partially mimic the Liddell family library as well as having the main bathrooms -- so I pulled up a quick YouTube video of the first "door" memory you get in A:MR, which shows off a version of the library, and designed it from there. Came out fairly nicely, if I say so. Then I just updated some terrain paints, and found a way to use Move Objects On to place a bunch of lights around so they were out of the way (namely, by putting them IN the hedge fences I was using) so the place is actually visible after dark. :D So nice to have it completed -- I think the next time I play Eric, I'll have him visit to "playtest" a bit. Because, well, I know it LOOKS nice, but are all the areas able to be accessed and used as intended. . .

-->Had my now-usual look-round Nexus Mods -- and discovered a new mod tracker related to Fallout 4 apparently just losing data from mods in save files randomly?? Yeah, uh, way to make me want to play the game with mods in! I mean, obviously the guy who made the tracker is trying to FIX the problem with his tracker, but still. But I've already installed the Unofficial Patch, so I might as well keep going at this point. . . I also took another look at that "best mods you might want" list I found. There are some pretty complex mods out there! . . .But I'm not sure I want anything TOO ambitious with quest mods right now. Especially when there's a quest in one of them that involves direct ragging on a favorite character of mine. *grumbles* I KNOW Preston's radiant quests can be annoying, but he HIMSELF is a good character, just install a FIX. . . And so many of them are geared toward dark and evil playthroughs, it feels like! I just wanna be a good person and a good Minuteman. . . :( The mod list is still good, though -- especially since there's an attached "load order" document that I can consult when it comes to installing mods and making sure they go in the right places. So we'll see how that goes tomorrow!

-->Did the usual run around YouTube:

A) From late last night, two videos from a guy just mucking around in Fallout 4's Commonwealth, playing – well, rather like I do, which is very chaotic and with only occasional flashes of brilliance in combat. XD Good to see my playstyle represented!

B) "Honest" trailers for both Fallout 4 and the Sims series entire – both quite amusing, especially the Sims one. Yes, it is strangely more satisfying to do laundry in-game than it is in real life. . .

C) Plumbella talking about the strong negative reaction to the Eco Living trailer that dropped the other day – her theory being that nobody believes it's actually doing anything new after stuff like the "Off The Grid" lot trait and the much smaller "conservation" aspect of Island Living. Which, you know what, fair, I understand the backlash. People feel like we're not being listened to and EA will come out with any old crap. I still personally want to give this pack a chance, though – I'm genuinely intrigued by some of the stuff in it.

D) A few videos on the Fallout 4 mods I was checking out, including a little one that just reinserts some cut dialogue from Piper's interview with the player – it's good stuff, though, so I want to throw it into my game for the slowly-becoming-inevitable restart I'm planning.

E) Call Me Kevin finishing off his playthrough of Playmobil game Hype from his childhood! What, don't remember the first few episodes? Come on, it was only two years ago that he last played it. XD (Well, more like one and a half, last upload on Hype was September 6, 2018 :p) But yeah, he finished off the game – which proved to be harder than he expected, but he managed to get through. Mostly by abusing time travel to get cheap repairs to his armor and then spamming this one spell to push back the big bad. XD But the day was saved, and that's all that matters! XD

F) Call Me Kevin having a very chaotic game of online Uno with some fellow Irish lads, namely RT Game and JackSepticEye. He – caused them all some grief by not being very good and handing wins to the bot player. XD And then they did TEAM games, and he completely screwed over poor Jack a couple of times, before becoming a valued member of some other match-ups. Add that in with some of the madness online Uno offers in card styles and effects, and – yeah. It was interesting. XD

G) And Call Me Kevin taking on the quarantine by playing a virtual version of the board game Life – against himself. Twice. And then getting genuinely competitive against himself – he was decrying Red Kevin's success while cheering on Blue Kevin, who seemed to be struggling. Cue a lot of confusion on his part as he tried to keep track of who was getting what and who needed to go where. Red Kevin ended up winning the day with the most money, which Kevin both was thrilled and saddened by. XD Poor Kevin – all three of him.

-->Got first draft of second gift fic done! :D Nice to just immediately have an idea for one and know how to implement it. Now I just have to clean them up at the beginning of next week, and they'll be good to go! :)

-->And I got my Valice Multiverse queue sorted -- small one tonight, but that's all right, I've been wasting lots of time looking at Fallout 4 mods I think are neat but won't install for fear of game breaking XD

And now it's time to finish up with what's in my inbox, then head over to the Friday Night Writing Thing, as per usual. Weekend -- well, weekend might partially belong to the Spiffing Brit, as I can confirm he has Fallout 4 videos, and I want to watch some more of his Sims stuff as well. XD But I also intend to finish up putting in the mods I want for Fallout 4, and wrestle some more with "An Introductory Guide To Magic." Should be a good Saturday! Except for the weather, which is supposed to be cold, rainy, windy, and just generally miserable. >( Stupid New England. . . Ah well, nothing I can do about that. Night all!
