Allow me to sum up my Saturday in bullet point form:

-->To my surprise, it wasn't rainy today! Sunshine pretty much all day! However, it was, unfortunately, windy and cold, so that wasn't fun. *grumbles* Fortunately, I didn't have to go out in it, but every time we had to open the front door -- brrr~ I had freaking hot chocolate today. In MAY. *sigh* I hate New England weather.

-->As stated, a good portion of the day was given over to YouTube:

A) A couple of Fluffy Ninja Llama videos – companions reacting to you calling out the Railroad's Dr. Carrington for being a jerk, and companions commenting on a crashed plane out in the Commonwealth (which was forced to make an emergency landing when an engine blew around the time of the bombs dropping – as Nick points out, what took it out was crashing into a nearby highway overpass).

B) Mitten Squad seeing if it's possible to beat Fallout 3 with only a Mesmetron (an evil device which screws up people's brain waves, either allowing to you to enslave them, turning them super-hostile, or blowing up their heads). This one is another "technically," as the game forces you to use a BB Gun to fight a radroach in the tutorial "growing up" section – but Paul says, since that's forced on you by the tutorial, it's acceptable, unlike needing to use another weapon to get the Commie Whacker in Fallout 4 (since that's only available from the DLC). As it turns out, it is, though it's not easy (the Mesmetron does not work on Super Mutants, so companions must be recruited to help slay them), and it results in a VERY evil run, as you end up selling a lot of slaves to the slavers who give you the damn weapon. Also the game kept crashing on him – gotta love the Bethesda seal of quality!

C) RT Game doing a "Fallout 4 speedrun" in which the goal was to get to and kill everyone in Diamond City – but, because RT is a troll, he spent significant amounts of time responding to the chat, looking things up on the web, pulling up a powerpoint presentation on a famous UK comedian. . .and then immediately started regretting everything as he realized he had left himself with barely any time at all to cause chaos. XD It was pretty hilarious – especially near the end, when he ended up bugging out the game so badly, his character fell through the ground and everyone froze. So, uh, mission sort of accomplished? He was in the middle of his murder spree when it happened. . .

D) As indicated yesterday, we spent a lot of time with The Spiffing Brit! Mainly because he had four videos I wanted to watch regarding game-breaking weirdness:

1. A very recent Fallout 4 video, starring "Reanu Keeves," where he showed how to glitch out (through running all over the Commonwealth and Far Harbor to pick up certain other weapons) modding a pipe pistol so it has a MIRV launcher attached to it. This results in a very funky-looking gun that uses very common ammo – but fires a bunch of mini-nukes with it. He essentially one-shot the opening Deathclaw with it. XD It was delightful and I loved it – and better yet, he's promising to make MORE of these videos. :D

2. An older Sims 4 video, starting "Lord Maximus Farquaad," where he showed off an easy way to earn tons of money – use the household split and merge system to move in with strangers, build a pool and get them to swim in it, wall off the pool, wait for them to die, then sell all their stuff and move onto the next family. XD He tried once to switch it up with fire, only for nothing to happen to his captives while Lord Farquaad nearly torched himself. XD Gotta love how horrible the Sims franchise can be sometimes. . .

3. Case in point, the next video was a look at Sims 3 and just how broken a genie's "ensorcell" ability is. Basically, genies in that game can mind-control other Sims, which gives you temporary direct control over the Sim. Spiffing promptly started stealing and selling every car he could find by ensorcelling the owners, then sending them to his home lot to – you guessed it – swim themselves to death in a walled-off pool. And then he discovered that buying a nightclub allowed him also to buy and sell all the cars currently on the lot – along with any NEW cars arriving from Sims looking for a night on the town. XD So broken. . .

4. And another Fallout 4 vid – this one an older one, where he just has fun with a mod that completely randomizes all guns into weird and broken random combos. How about an extremely powerful multi-barrel laser-shooting sniper rifle? Or a shotgun that actually shoots fire? Or, much like his deliberate glitching earlier, a mini-nuke launcher attached to a pipe pistol base? XD The latter proved able to two-shot giant robot Liberty Prime, soooo. . . Good times, good times. . .

E) Another episode of James's Animal Crossing New Horizons adventures – with Bunny Day at last over with, it was time to look into increasing the island's star rating with new villagers, decorations, and general beauty! James went wandering for goodies on some Nook Miles islands, and found himself a ton of apples, apple trees, and a cute strawberry-themed Rhino named Merengue. He's working on chopping down and replanting a bunch of trees, and planning out a flower garden in the front of his island. As usual, very cute and calming.

F) And finally, another trip into Hardcore Minecraft with Call Me Kevin! Which continues to be shockingly forgiving toward him – though he did have a bad run-in with a skeleton underwater. Good thing he's got decent armor and weapons now! Mainly, though, he worked on building up his central tower (it – looks a little weird, but it's coming along!) and exploring the caves and mines near his house (apparently The End portal is right underneath his nearby village! He was downright stunned). So that was oddly relaxing as well! I hope he manages to stay alive a while longer – I'm enjoying this little series. :)

-->I HAVE been working on Fallout 4 modding, however -- namely, I've been downloading the files manually to import into Vortex later, since that's apparently the best way to install this stuff. I've also got the load order that one guy with the mod list provided, so I'm looking to that as to how to sort them as they get installed. Nice to have some guidance on that! Though I do have some off-list mods I want to put on. . . Well, let me get the ones I know, sorted, then I'll see about the others. (I just want apple trees in my world. . .)

-->I also worked some more on "An Introductory Guide to Magic" -- redid some of the stuff on what magic is and the best way to describe it, and -- actually got the words to flow? As in, it wasn't a fight to figure out what I wanted to say?? That's new with this story. Hopefully this means I've turned a corner and can start making some real progress! :)

-->I got my mom a virtual Mother's Day card I think she'll enjoy, because -- well, pandemic, haven't been going out to get things, and Mom already said she doesn't want a physical card because of pandemic. We're getting her new plants once the weather warms up again, but -- I dunno, I wanted to make sure she got SOMETHING on Mother's Day itself.

-->And I'm currently keeping an eye on the Valice Multiverse while doing convos on my main tumblr and more mod downloading (and sorting the mods in my "Tell Me Where To Find Shelter" doc by the order they should go in according to the sample load order).

So yeah -- I guess that works for getting things done on a Saturday! Tomorrow, though, I hope to actually BOOT UP Fallout 4, not just watch funny videos on it. Maybe if I can get all the files I need for the mods I want. . . Best get back to it, then! Once I answer all my comments, of course. *nods* Night all!
