Got the latest batch of gifts I wanted to get on, on at work -- though I was interrupted more than I wanted by phone calls and whatnot, so that was a little frustrating. At least the GL worked out fine! I was worried about that. . .at any rate, I just did my thing there and filled the time to the brim. Tomorrow will be more of the same, I'm sure. . .bleh. At least now we're only two days out from the weekend!

Other things of note:

-->More beanbag game -- Dad won two games, and I won one thanks to a couple of good throws from me and a couple of bad ones from Dad. Hey, I'll take it!

-->Another workout video, keeping up with the fitness~

-->Cleaned up that gift fic for the tumblr friend who's birthday is Monday -- good to have that ready to go! I just hope she likes it.

-->Sims-based YouTube tonight:

A) Part 2 of "Rags To Redevelopment!" Where the dumpster-diving continues, because everyone's of the opinion as much of Ambrose's lot should be furnished by such means as possible. (James HAS bought an outdoor bin, but that's because he's not sure you can find one of those in the dumpster.) So far we've gotten a retail fridge, the Sims 1 dining chair, and a bunch of burned stuff. XD But hey, at least he can also afford a few walls to actually put all this stuff in! Ambrose has also started his job (and gotten a promotion already!), taken advantage of the new maker space (fizzing up some fresh "bin juice" from the trash plants now growing on his lot. . .and actually drinking it, yech XD), made a few friends (including one of the new Master Tinkerers), and ignored a bunch of holidays (which isn't doing wonders for his mood). Keeping busy, keeping busy! Slowly but surely making his way up in life. . .

B) Plumbella trying out the "leave the Sims unpaused for an in-game year" challenge again, this time with a Sims 2 family! . . .they were dead after about a half-hour. Another cooking fire took most of the adults (including the grandpa, who survived the initial fire, but then wet himself and walked INTO THE SPREADING FLAMES), the kids were whisked away by the social worker (poor grades, the lot of them), and the one survivor (who was at work when the place went up in flames) ended up starving to death because, well, the fire took out the fridge. She's planning on trying the challenge with Sims 3 and Sims 4 as well – I'm looking forward to seeing what results then!

C) Plumbella gets her snark on by rating Sims series flops! Well, mainly Sims 4 flops, with one Sims 3 stuff pack (Katy Perry's Sweet Treats). She was pretty easy on stuff like Moschino Stuff (which turned out to have more value than you might have expected from a pack like that), but she went hard on My First Pet Stuff, the lackluster 20 th Anniversary celebration (and its hot tub), and – well, the Sims 4 itself, in the context of its very crappy base game release. Personally, I think she was a little too hard on the latter, given that the game HAS survived five years, but I totally agree on the other two. Sims team, step up thy game!

-->Got Thursday and Friday sorted on my Victor Luvs Alice queue, and I'm about to get Saturday done as well after I'm done catching up on tumblr tags. :) Then it's just a matter of finding something decent for the first half of Sunday. . .and hoping that I can get an update for the second half. Gonna see how far I can get on Chapter 8 tomorrow!

And that's about it! So yeah. Let me just go and get my comments from the inbox answered, and then I guess it'll be time to hit the sack. Hoping for some decent sleep tonight. . .I've been doing okay, but actually falling asleep can be a bit of a THING lately. Ah well. Night all!
