crossover_chick | I Have Gotten Down On Friday

More or less, anyway. :p Very glad it's the weekend -- today was kind of stressful, and I kept getting interrupted during lunch, which is always annoying. *sigh* But I got more stuff done, got a bunch of checks on (the scanning thing is back to normal, hooray), fixed up some exceptions, all that. So I can at least say I ended the week on a productive note.

Afternoon has been pretty good too:

-->As usual, we had some beanbag game, since it wasn't too bad out in the shade (hot, but not too horrible). I lost all three games, damn. :( I managed some decent scores, at least, but Dad won all three, and Mom took second. Ah well -- if it's not too miserable tomorrow, maybe I can make a comeback.

-->Had a nice dinner of chicken tenders with the latest QI, so that was fun. :) I love that show -- it's so wacky, and it brings up the weirdest things. Like how one opens a champagne bottle with a sword. XD (Sandy actually successfully did so with the help of a professional! It was wild.)

-->Did the second draft of the other gift fic I owe for the end of the month ;) It's just something simple and silly, but I hope it'll be appreciated. :) Now I can get back to "Londerland Bloodlines" next week!

A) Kevin plays "battle royale" game Warzone – as a pacifist! His techniques included hiding behind his riot shield in plain sight and somehow not getting noticed; escaping from very persistent players in convoy trucks; luring his enemies around walls and then leaping over them to escape, and dying. A lot. XD Though he actually managed to get pretty high in the ranks near the end – a couple of 3rds, and near the end, he was 2nd! Just didn't have anything to repel the guy next to him, sadly. . .still, not bad for a build where he was hiding behind a riot shield most of the time!

B) Kevin plays Surgeon Simulator 2 with a team of fellow Irishmen – RTGame, Jacksepticeye, and Daithi De Nogla (*shrug*). Or, rather, the other three try to play Surgeon Simulator 2 while Kevin acts like a complete troll. XD First thing he did in the first level was to find the hacksaw everyone needed and try to hide it – dropping it in an inaccessible area in the process. XD Best part, though, was when they were all trying to get body parts for the patient out through a door controlled by a fuse – not only did Kevin trap people MULTIPLE TIMES by taking it, he collaborated with one of them (I think RT) to SNEAK THE FUSE INTO THE ROOM so it would be permanently locked. XD Despite this, they managed to beat one of the levels under five minutes, soooo. . .

C) Kevin plays more Family Man! Things are getting darker – which isn't surprising, given he's been beating a LOT of people to death. But yeah, he's finally gotten his hands on some guns, making himself an even more formidable opponent; helped his mafia boss kill a union boss in the hospital; helped a stalker eliminate his competition and set up a meeting between him and his love interest (which ended with said love interest getting shot); and discovered the "Cannibal Killer" in town was in fact the local Sheriff! And accepted a deputy job to keep quiet. Basically, this game is pretty fecked up. XD I'm really looking forward to seeing what happens in the end! I think Kevin's on-track to either becoming a valued member of Bruce's mob, or possibly taking over it. . .

-->And now I'm finishing up my Valice Multiverse queue and catching up on tumblr tags before proceeding to the Friday Night Writing Thing (we have a new scene planned, so we're good, so long as my internet stays on *glares at it*). Tomorrow, I think, will be Sims-related -- gonna catch up with "Rags To Redevelopment" and fire up the game. After, uh, updating all my mods and whatnot. . .eh, not the first time I've had to do that for a patch. Or a new DLC, if I decide to go ahead and spring for Eco Lifestyle. . .

But that's to think about tomorrow. Right now, time is awasting, and I've got things to do. Night all!
