Exceptions Monday
Jun. 22nd, 2020 11:10 pmAs in, after doing a fairly simple GL, I spent most of my day working on the exceptions that have come back from the processing company. Mostly because it was time to do QC counts for the capital campaign pledge billings, and I knew we had a bunch of writeoffs and whatnot lurking around, so. . . Yeah, that was my day, for the most part, pulling stuff out of those and trying to get them all done. I'm honestly ALMOST done with the majority of the bundles, it's just -- there's all these one-or-two offs that need extra research, or something else that needs to be done other than "make this person inactive" or "change this address." Bit annoying, but I guess it's keeping me busy. Which I need to keep my brain from going into Anxiety Spirals, sooo. . .
Things of note from this afternoon:
-->More beanbag game, as it wasn't too hot outside for it -- we all each won a game, which was nice. I picked up the second one thanks to some lucky throws near the end, yay. :D Getting more or less used to these new sand bags!
-->Back to work on "Londerland Bloodlines!" Alice has gotten her reward money from LaCroix and her blackmail money from Malcolm St. Martin, and is now spending some of it on a duffel bag to carry certain items to the Asylum. Also ammo for her gun, now that she's let slip Knox let her know Trip carries it. Trip is -- less than thrilled. XD Though, annoyingly, I couldn't find his ACTUAL dialogue for "Knox told you?" in-game, so I've had to make something up. *huffs* Then again, Alice has already bought MORPHINE from him in this world, so. . .
-->A late start on the writing meant I didn't have much time for videos, so I concentrated on the two OXBox vids I had in my Watch Later -- 7 TV Tie-In Games That Completely Missed The Point (like the Home Improvement action platformer, or the Pimp My Ride game that was mostly rhythm games, or the infamous "Superman 64" -- yeah, that's officially a tie-in game to the Superman animated series!), and 7 Small Details That Are So Satisfying In Games (like petting cats and dogs across the Assassin's Creed series, or Codsworth having a HUGE database of names available to him for PCs in Fallout 4. Though the list revealed something baffling -- JANE is not on the list, apparently! They had to resort to her last name, Douglas, to get Codsworth to call her by it! Sheesh. . .). Both fun little lists, so I have no complaints. :)
-->Finished up gathering all the pictures from my Emmett and Nikal playsession for the next Newcrest Adventures update -- it's a short one, with only 25 pics (three updates, but one's only half-size). Admittedly, they spent most of the last session just hanging out practicing magic in the Magic Realm, so it's not a huge surprise. Slotting them into the queue now so I'll at least have the basic posts ready! Hoping to at least get all the pictures in order and some starter text going.
And that's about it! As is per usual with my weekday updates. One day down, four to go. . .hopefully it'll be a halfway decent week. Fingers crossed everyone! Night all!
