crossover_chick: gif with Doc and Marty trying to get out of being written into twisted AUs (In a sarcastic mood)

Well, the plot bunny is back, as evidenced by the fact that I've been doodling "the kids." The tentacles are actually pretty easy to draw -- you have two curvy shapes connected by lines for the tentacle, then the head can be a few ways:
1. closed -- a cone with a line down the middle, almost to the end
2. open side -- the bottom of the cone, with three points -- one on the top and bottom, then a third one in the middle
3. open front -- a circle with three "petals" coming out of it
And etc.
-D: Just out of curiosity, have you named them?-
-VD: You told us the original Doc Ock tentacles are Mo, Flo, Harry, and Larry.-
*nodnod* They are named. There's, going clockwise from the top left, Jules, Verne, Thomas, and Albert. I'm sure you all know why they're named that.
-D: *smiles, shakes head*-
Jules is the more analytical one, Verne's more creative, Thomas is enthusastic (and often acts young, so he's generally called Tommy), and Albert is a bit cynical. Their attachments reflect this -- Jules has special equipment allowing him to tap into power/phone lines, Verne has a smaller set of pincers, Thomas has the inner tentacle, and Albert has the "death blade."
-DW: *rubbing his stomach* Thank you for doing something with this. Eating that bunny so many times gave me a stomachache.-
*petpet* I sympathesize totally. >.< I got my "friend" today. Besides, OckDoc has got himself a Marvelicious woman.
-D: o.O Marvelicious?-
-M: Who? Another original?-
Nope, VenomClara.
-M: What?-
Clara with a Venom-like symbiote. This may sound weird, but the plot bunny has to do with some sort of series. *glares at it as it tries to eat her carpet*
-M2: *evilgrin* Just what you need, a new series.-
Damn you Marvel and your shininess! DAMN YOU!
If anyone's interested, this is what I have:
Story One -- Set after Part One, with "Fixing Time" applying. Doc is inspired to create the Doc Ock arms as lab aids after reading a relevant Marvel comic. However, the Libyans Doc have wrong have their own plans. One of them is a scientist and wants Doc's aid on creating a weapon of mass destruction. They steal the arms, then kidnap Marty and Doc and force Doc to work for them. Doc reluctantly does, but sabotages the project at the last minute. Unfortunately, what he does causes an explosion, and the arms are fused to him. Doc wakes up in St. Daphne Hospital with the sentient arms on him. He learns to live with them, even love them. However, another group of scientists feel he should be separated from the arms. Marty manages to save Doc and the kids.
Story Two -- A few months after Story One, Doc bites the bullet and goes to 2015 to get his eyes fixed, which were damaged in the accident. Marty and Jennifer get to go along. Jennifer sees and buys Gray's Sports Almanac, figuring it'll be useful in case of cash flow problems. Marty is mistaken for his future son "Douglas" and is taken home, necessitating a chase by Doc and Jennifer. They save Marty (who briefly meets his older self) and go back to 1985. Surprise -- it's 1985-A! Old Biff overheard some of the time travel stuff and took a moment when the tentacles were distracted to steal the DeLorean (the kids were watching the car). Jennifer agrees to stay in 1985-A and hold down fort while the boys go back and retrieve the Almanac. They suceed, but are sent back to 1885 by one of those stray lightning strikes.
Story Three -- After being sent back to August 1st, 1885, Doc and Marty are forced to blend in while trying to get the DeLorean operational again. They're out of gas (Doc never refilled the tank (from [livejournal.com profile] martyfan :D)), and they can't figure out how to attach Mr. Fusion to the car engine. Doc and the kids try to stay under close wraps as they set themselves up as the new blacksmiths. Buford Tannen comes in, has his horse shoed, and refuses to pay. Words are exchanged. Later, Doc and Marty hit upon the idea of using a train to push the DeLorean up to 88. They visit the train tracks, and Doc saves Clara from going over the edge. They fall in love, even as Buford "threatens" Doc's life (hey, he's got four "Doc Ock" tentacles. This Doc fears no one). Marty convinces Doc to let Clara come to the future with them, and Doc shows Clara both the DeLorean and his arms. Turns out Clara has her own secret -- she's bonded to an alien symbiote, a la Venom. Marty uses the "bullet proof vest" on Buford, and Doc and Clara showcase their talents on his gang. They hijack the train and head home to good old 1985, where Jennifer greets them all warmly.
-VJ: Wow, you've got this all planned out.-
-J: I like me having a big role.-
Yeah. My one problem is that Story Three is a lot like "Dusky Past" of the Night and Day series I plan to write. Hmmm.
-D: Well, there are notably differences in execution -- most notably the arms.-
Yeah, but like Ael said, you don't want to repeat ideas. Any thoughts?
