crossover_chick: Doc snoozing on his couch (BTTF: exhausted)
[personal profile] crossover_chick
Didn't get the greatest night's sleep last night (The Anxiety (tm) hit me as I was trying to relax and -- yeah), but I pulled through and made it through another day. More checks put on, more exceptions done -- lots of little things, basically. Just trying to handle it all, as per usual. At least word came down from on high about summer hours -- they're on! I get out at 1:30 on Fridays in July and August, as per usual! O.O I was TOTALLY not expecting that after -- well, everything that's happened. . .but hell, I'll take it! Hopefully it'll give me some much-needed sanity boosts during the summer! Even if we can't really go anywhere, I'll just enjoy being out of the office.

Anyway, other things of note today:

-->Beanbag game made a return -- Dad won all three games, I placed second in all three games. Poor Mom was having an off day, especially with game two. But we were all pretty close in the other two! Slowly but surely Mom and I are getting better (Dad was already pretty good, so. . .)

-->Still got in a workout video too, which was nice -- keeping up with the fitness.

-->Did another round of edits on Chapter 9 of "Secundus 2" -- Doc has caught them up on what happened with Clara (basically, stargazing turned to kissing, and after that it was just too late for Doc to try and get back, so they made up the couch for him), and he's been abruptly reminded of the existence of the wedding rehearsal. Which would have been funnier if the local undertaker hadn't just showed up to measure Marty for his coffin. . .

-->More GrayStillPlays tonight!

A) Save The Girl – Gray goes even deeper down the rabbit hole of this very weird mobile game and does things like visit another planet (and hijack some alien's saucer via reflecting his shrink ray with Captain America's shield), take a hang-gliding trip (and fart his way past an obstacle), and go on a killer game show (where you have to guess the right shape, otherwise you end up either electrocuted or thrown in the pit!). As usual, the game refuses to make sense and it is perfect.

B) Fleeing the Complex – Gray plays a stickman (named Henry Stickmin, as we find out later) who must escape a terrible prison complex with the help of his redheaded assistant, Scarlet Jostickson. And then must infiltrate a giant airship and capture the two-hatted criminal on board. Along the way, there will be many weird and wonderful failures, such as playing dead to sneak out and getting thrown out the window; starting a dance-off as a distraction; accidentally shooting his partner with a sniper rifle; firing a laser while in a giant hamster ball at a baddie and getting FLUNG in the opposite direction; and using Wallace's Techno-Trousers to try and climb a wall, only to fall out because he forgot to strap in with some suspenders. XD And apparently this is the last game in a trilogy about Henry, so I'm hoping we get to see the other ones!

C) Break Me Totally – Gray finds another one of those games just for him, in a game where to purchase new things, you pay in broken bones. Because the whole point of the game is to horrendously torture a poor stick-man via stuff like sending him down a giant flight of stairs on a giant skateboard, or rocket-biking him into some endlessly twirling fans. Gray being Gray, he found some fun ways to glitch the games out and get the guy stuck in his skateboard on one certain level with a lot of moving "pistons," earning so many points that he was able to unlock the level editor. This takes 100,000 broken bone coins, people! And then he made a room full of saws and steam vents and accidentally created perpetual motion agony. XD Love it!

D) More Sims 4 – Gray found a mod that allows him to homeschool children, and decided it was time he started torturing the younger set more! Cue the creation of the most urine-soaked school in the world. XD Seriously, he provided bathrooms (those prebuilt public ones you can put on community lots, but STILL), and they were STILL wetting themselves left right and center! And then of course the dying started happening, and kids were whisked away for their own safety, aaaaand – yeah. By the end, there was only one adult left alive (Ellis Dee) and one child left alive (Stephanie, who somehow managed to learn NOTHING). Gray has decided to rename her and age her up as one of the recurring characters, yay – looks like the winning name might be Peetee S Dee (sound it out). Also, it was another one of those videos sponsored by Raycon earbuds, so Gray ran his over with his truck. THEY STILL SURVIVED. I am duly impressed.

-->And now I'm finishing catching up on tumblr tags, having updated both my Victor Luvs Alice and Valice Multiverse queues, before answering what's in the inbox and heading to bed. Hoping I sleep better tonight. . .at least tomorrow's Friday. And the last full Friday for two whole months, yay~ Hoping it goes well. Night all!
