Am very glad to think that this will be my final full-length Friday for two whole months. :) Not that it was a particularly BAD Friday -- spent most of it either checking donors for an acknowledgement file, or posting new checks -- but. . .well, both my usual "I'd rather be at home than at work" leanings and my new "I'd rather be at home than anywhere else" leanings agree that half-day Fridays are better than full Fridays. Especially when, like next week, they come before a three-day weekend. :) That'll be fun.

Anyway -- the usual sum-up of my afternoon for you all:

-->Did another round of the beanbag game -- Dad took the first two games (and I got second in both), then I won the third! So that was nice. :D

-->Watched QI with supper -- first episode filmed during the pandemic, meaning no studio audience. A good third of the episode was spent on strange stories from the contestants' lives prompted by trying to figure out what Johnny's buzzer noise was. Apparently they're a lot easier to distract without the studio audience. XD Still a funny show, but -- yeah, kinda sad at the same time to see everything go so quiet because of what's going on.

-->Worked some more on "Londerland Bloodlines" -- Alice has successfully kept her duffel bag of ghost goodies out of Jeannette's hands by being a friendly ear to Jeannette's woes and by acknowledging the sisters will fight over anything, including Jeannette taking the items Alice was supposed to give to Therese. Now she just has to pick up Slashterpiece to keep on Jeannette's good side, and we can move onto more side-quest fun! :)

-->YouTube was more catching up on stuff:

A) FINALLY watched the latest two Fun With Shorts – another Lone Ranger cartoon, "The Frog People" (starring Tonto taking on scuba-driving crooks while the Ranger himself faffs off to another village to mock Native beliefs), and an educational short on how ears work (informative, but also a little gross – I find it very weird to think that the inner parts of my ears are in fact located somewhere under and behind my EYES. Bodies are strange, people). Josh had a bunch of fun riffs for both, so that was good. :)

B) And then it was time for more Call Me Kevin! Yeah, I built up a backlog of both him and Gray, and I'm trying to gradually cut it down. Today from Kevin we had:

1. The Survivalists, a survival sim from the makers of The Escapists. Explore a deserted island, craft things, make monkey friends, and die of hunger right next to your campfire because you couldn't find anything to eat until you were already starving! And then respawn and discover that chest you found contained a fruit smoothie. XD That's how it works when you're Kevin, anyway! To his credit, he only died twice, and the second time was in an actual beat-em-up dungeon against goblin-like creatures, sooo. . .he's surviving! More or less!

2. 60 Parsecs!, one of my old favorites from The Kubz Scouts! Now Kevin has given it a try – and promptly fell prey to his hatred for soup, as that's the only actual food in the game. XD Didn't stop him from letting his character (Emmet) eat most of it, though. I think the entire crew was insubordinate by day three. XD And everyone was DEAD by day twenty-three, mostly because Kevin powered through the soup and then couldn't find or make any more. He managed to upgrade his cow artifact to have cool glowy eyes, though! XD Fortunately he's already talking about making another episode, which makes me happy. I'd love to see him take on more of the game! Maybe even try and win. . .

3. Prison Architect, which sees Kevin using its newest DLC, Island Bound, to design a winning prison! As sponsored by Paradox – who probably wondered what the fuck they'd signed up for when they saw Kevin's prison. XD He got an island that looked just a little bit like his home nation of Ireland and proceeded to screw it up to the point where he had to build NEW LAND to try and hold more cells for his badly overcrowded prisoners. As you might expect, there were many riots, and many many deaths. After a few desperate attempts to maintain order, he threw up his hands, deleted the walls and just let the prisoners have the place as New New Zealand. XD Suppose it's better than everyone drowning in the showers!

-->And I just completed my Valice Multiverse queue. Gotta fix up the Victor Luvs Alice one for tomorrow, answer the stuff in my inbox, and then see about the Friday Night Writing Thing. And then get some sleep, because that's been kinda tough the past couple of days. Stupid Anxiety (tm). It always chooses the worst moments to flare up. *shakes head* Well, hoping this will be an okay weekend. Gotta clean tomorrow, but I should still find some time for videos and Fallout 4, I'm hoping.

But for now, I have to do my other things and get to Friday Night Writing. *nods* Night all!
