Decently Chill Saturday

crossover_chickAnd not just because we had the air conditioners running all day thanks to high humidity. :p No, it was actually just a pretty pleasant day, overall:
-->As predicted, spent most of the morning and a chunk of the early afternoon cleaning. Now my room is dusted and vacuumed again and I don't have to worry about it for a couple of weeks, yay~
-->Played some Sims 4 -- in direct contrast to the sticky summery weather in the real world, Emmett and Nikal are in the dead of winter, and in fact celebrated Winterfest today! They had an excellent holiday, decorating the house and tree and having a few surprise guests over -- Morgyn Ember and Eric Embers! And Father Winter, of course. They enjoyed a nice ham dinner, opened presents (Nikal got, over the course of the day, an Improbable Ottoman, a 'Wood You Believe' bunny statue, and a garden gnome; Emmett received a yoga mat, some Phozone for the element collection, and a digital camera) and had a snowball fight with Morgyn. :) A very nice day, even if I had to result to MC Command Center cheats to get Morgyn to LEAVE THE HOUSE. I dunno why, but there was no option to send him home or ask him to leave or anything! Stupid glitchy sages. . . Also, Nikal's officially in her third trimester, so it's time to start on some further house remodels! Hmmm, they have the lab in the basement. . .maybe I should make use of the new ladders and give them an attic for magic stuff? Also have to figure out what to do with their home gym. . .
-->Also played the beanbag game with the folks -- another day where each of us got a win! Dad won the first game; Mom came from behind to score a win with the second; and I managed to score some solid throws and take the third. :) Always nice when that happens!
-->Posted Chapter 9 of "Secundus 2!" Short, simple and sweet -- well, for a certain value of that last word. After all, the chapter's mainly about them finding out about the Tannen jailbreak. . . Dunno when Chapter 10 will be up, but I shall keep working on it apace!
-->Caught up on two episodes of "Rags To Redevelopment" -- James posted a third episode today, but I haven't yet gotten a chance to watch it with the other stuff I'm doing. Ambrose's life continues to have ups and downs -- his home is growing into a sort of shipping container mansion (with now a "work shed" container for stuff like his juice fizzer and fabricator, and an "electricity" container for all his generators), but he had another generator fire while at work and had to come home early to deal with it. At least the new storage container for them all has a fire alarm! His needs were absolute garbage in the first episode, but James seems to have gotten a handle on them for the second -- at the very least, he was actually allowed to TALK to people, even if only the invisible coworkers at his job. :p Oh, and Lilith came by for a bit of socialization and woohoo. XD He also seems to have FINALLY wrestled the Fabricator into submission, as he was able to successfully fabricate a desk (and is now able to use his laptop!), a floor lamp (that gives -- pretty shitty light, not gonna lie), and the eco-vacuum that James was so eager to get (burned furniture can now be repaired! Meaning he now has a SUPER-awesome bed that he saved from a dumpster). He just needs a counter now, and he might actually start living a life WORTH living! XD I guess we'll see if that comes about in the latest episode. . . And now I really want to buy the Eco Lifestyle pack again and do a Fallout-themed rags to riches. XD One thing at a time, Vic. . .
-->And I just answered all the stuff for the Valice Multiverse and am currently working on getting my Victor Luvs Alice queue updated. Also need to answer my comments here, of course. *nods* And I'm gonna try to get a little done on getting pictures ready for the next Newcrest Adventures update too.
Plans for tomorrow? Nothing too special -- catch up on what's in the Watch Later queue (namely the Fallout 4-related stuff), play some more Fallout 4 with mod testing fun, hopefully get in the beanbag game, try to get in a workout, and either work some more on Chapter 10 of "Secundus 2" or the gift fic I owe on for a tumblr friend on 7/22. Think that should cover my day off. Now, back to doing all the stuff I need to do in the evenings. Night all!
