A discussion of people coming in downstairs worrying my asthmatic coworker led to my supervisor discussing our workspace with us, and one of my coworkers has been moved to one of the empty offices! I now have some space to breathe (literally)! The other coworker is staying, but at least SHE, I know, is appropriately socially distanced. And there is something resembling a barrier between us when she's sitting down at her desk. So that helps, at least. I'll still be wearing my mask lots, but at least some of the tension should be relieved. And I won't feel so "argh" about trying to eat my lunch. Also I'm almost done with everything I can do with those exceptions, so yaaaay there. Gonna try and catch up on some of the roster maintenance next.
Rest of the day was pretty good too:
-->Managed to answer a FF.net PM from a friend this morning, so I didn't have to worry about fitting it into my lunch break
-->Got in a workout video, since I'm trying to alternate those and the bike -- one of the more active ones, but that's a good thing! Gotta stay fit~
-->Solved what I thought was going to be a tough puzzle from my puzzle-a-day calendar on the first try, so that was cool :)
-->Made my muffins after a much-more-reasonably timed dinner -- they look good, so that's nice (even if I did fill them all a little unevenly)
-->Wrote some more on "Londerland Bloodlines" -- Mercurio has actually given Alice a crash course in the seven major clans, stealing some of Tung's thunder -- I still intend for him to give her a few more in-depth thoughts, though. They're in the middle of getting into Carson's computer (I have changed the "generic computer system screen" into a password-protected not-Word document for reasons), and soon enough Alice will be on her way to beat a limb-severing serial killer. Fun times! XD
-->Watched a couple of fun YouTube videos:
A) James Turner recreates, then renovates, one of his old Sims 2 builds in The Sims 4! A simple yellow starter home from 2008 became a MUCH more complex, MUCH more expensive house in 2020. Still yellow though. He played around with different colors, but – nothing worked as well. The layout got super complicated with the addition of a chimney in an awkward place to break up a dull wall, then he added an upstairs via ladder, and – well, he made it all work in the end! Perhaps not his BEST work, but it's serviceable. Looks lived in! Also, video was interrupted midway through by appearance of his and Deli's dog, a big old Chow Chow named Bowser. XD So much floof~
B) And then popped over to OXtra to check out a list of seven movie tie-in games that proved – better than the movie. Which – I'll allow that with MOST of them, especially games that outpaced famous hated films (Star Wars Episode 1: The Phantom Menace, which spawned a very fun podracing game), or famous mega-flops (Ballistic: Ecks Vs Sever, which created a good first-person shooter (possibly because the game was based on a spec script and not the final product)). But Peter Jackson's King Kong: The Official Game Of The Movie? I have SEEN Call Me Kevin playing that glitchy mess, people. It is NOT a good game! Shaaaame, Outside Xtra, shaaaaame. XD
-->And now, after a bit more spacing out than I intended (whoops), I'm hastily throwing a few things in my tumblr queue for tomorrow and going to answer my final DW comment before heading to bed. Tomorrow will hopefully be smoother sailing with the extra space granted to me by work. Just gotta get through Thursday and the first half of Friday. . . Night all!
