crossover_chick: Doc snoozing on his couch (BTTF: exhausted)

Just -- more GL nonsense (though I actually figured out part of it, so go me!), more calls from Fiscal about stuff, more trying to wade through various projects getting assigned to me. . .and of course the thing with our credit card company didn't happen again. I just. . .ugh. It really feels sometimes like I can't catch even a SEMBLANCE of a break. I guess what really ticks me off about the whole thing is I had a pretty nice long weekend (bad Friday start and troubles with game launchers aside), and now it feels like it's been entirely negated. At least tomorrow's Friday again. . .full-length Friday, but what can you do.

Afternoon was okay, at least:

-->Rode the bike downstairs for my workout, while watching part of somebody's LP of Fallout 4 (H20Delirious). Entertaining enough, and it got my exercise in!

-->Another episode of some freaking hilarious Taskmastering -- including some epic ranting from James regarding his "team task" with Rhod and Phil, which completely fell apart when Rhod insisted on doing his own thing XD It was delightful!

-->Wrote some more on "Secundus 2" Chapter 13 -- slowly but surely wrapping up the epilogue with the gang (plus Cheshire) coming in to see the baby! Just have to do the name reveal and everyone's reaction, and we should be good to go!

-->Caught up on my YouTube:

A) Today's marathon focused on short Yandere Simulator-related videos:

1. Jay from the Kubz Scouts taking care of the rest of Osana's eliminations – crushing her under dumbbells (and then trying to go after the grieving Raibaru with a dumbbell – didn't end well), electrocuting her (and making her twintails spin like CRAZY), and ruining her reputation (apparently writing self-insert fanfiction is horrible in Akademi High!). Also fun cutscene glitches with poor Senpai. :p

2. A video from "magimoon" showcasing all the voiced lines from the "saving Osana's cat" stealth minigame: both the standard monologues – sister rants about her creepy brother; father complains about the broken TV; mother mumbles to herself about her cake recipe; stalker goes on about how obsessed he is with the anime character Osana sort of resembles – and the 'caught' lines – the sister screams; the parents both assume you're a friend of the sister's and ask you politely to go; the stalker rants about how you're ruining everything but doesn't actually do anything to stop you. Really makes me annoyed Jay passed by the sister so early but stopped to listen to most of the mom, as the former definitely has the more interesting lines.

3. A secret extra version of the "ruin Osana trying to show Senpai nice places around the school on her phone" event – the way you're SUPPOSED to ruin it, you steal her phone, put terrible pictures on it, then put it on her desk and wait for her to show Senpai so he'll see the bad stuff. However, if you just take her phone and don't give it back, Osana quietly tells Senpai things didn't work out and to forget it. And then, when you try to leave, Osana lets the teachers know her phone is missing, it's discovered in Ayano's things, and Ayano ends up expelled. (People in the comments were pointing out it takes FIVE offenses for Osana to get expelled, including stealing – but Osana doesn't have the Headmaster biased against her for being the daughter of a previous yandere he knew. . .)

4. And a video someone made of a scenario that I thought should be obvious – RAIBARU, who follows Osana just about everywhere, finally confessing that she loves her, and Osana returning her feelings. Awww~ Honestly, I think this would be dope as an alternate matchmaking scenario – and it leaves everybody in a good place! (Because, well, I'd LOVE to see Osana's stalker go up against Raibaru. . .)

B) And then, just for funsies, a compilation video about Sims-related TikToks. Some really good ones in there, though my favorite was a Sims-styled house tour ("there's a jukebox in EVERY room. There is a jukebox in the BATHROOM.") XD

C) And then later, as linked by a tumblr friend, a video on the life of one Timothy Dexter, an idiot and asshole who, unfortunately for everyone around him, had a shocking talent for turning awful ideas into real money makers (such as buying up enough of the old continental dollars to make a fortune when the new US government decided to buy them back for the new money actually worth something, or sending coal to Newcastle and having it arrive JUST WHEN the coal miners there were on strike). It was fascinating for all the wrong reasons. XD And wait until you learn about his book. . .

-->And right now I'm currently trying to finish up my Valice Multiverse queue (long one today) and answer my DW comments. Then off to bed, where hopefully I'll get some half-decent sleep, manage NOT to wake up super early, and then get myself through the final day of work. Which will hopefully NOT involve me staying late for the damn conference call we keep meaning to have. . .

Anyway. Nothing's getting done if I get mad, so I gotta concentrate. Night all!
