Yeah, definitely hoodie weather -- only got into the 60s today (though I think a little warmer than they were saying on the radio -- I had the windows open for a little bit this afternoon), and tomorrow is supposed to be in the 50s. Long sleeve shirt under the hoodie tomorrow, I reckon! We've taken out the air conditioners from the window -- even if it does warm up a bit next week, I doubt we're going to be needing them again!

Anyway, as usual for a cleaning Saturday, most of said Saturday was taken up by the cleaning -- didn't help that I woke up fairly late. (Or, rather, I woke up kinda early, decided I'd rather try to go back to sleep, then before I knew it two hours had gone by and it was coming up on 10:30.) Got it all done for another two weeks, though! And got a few other things done too:

-->We did end up playing some more beanbag game -- Dad was back on his groove, but Mom was off it. She didn't win a single game :( I, on the other hand, managed to win the third and fourth games with some good throwing, so that was nice. :) We're coming to the end of the time where we can play it, so we gotta take advantage of every opportunity!

-->I also played some Fallout 4 -- installed a mod that should keep me from getting that stupid molerat disease from the quest "A Hole In The Wall" (it's absurdly easy to get the disease, as the coding means that even if you don't get bit, but your companion does, you'll get the -10 HP -- this mod fixes that, along with making power armor an effective deterrent to getting infected). This of course means I have to actually PLAY some of the Vault 81 stuff. :P Which took longer than expected, mostly because I started getting caught up in the various "Tales From The Commonwealth" quests you can get. Finished the quest that gets you access to T-Mail, and now have one where I should check out an old bookstore. It's fun, having all these new options for stuff to do! :) Probably why I just downloaded a little modpack Zorkaz made of a bunch of his crafting mods, like baking things and making tea. . . Anyway, I've successfully gotten into Vault 81, and have met the kid who will get sick (he's a cutie, gives you a tour of the Vault) and have agreed to rescue a cat who very slowly ran out of the Vault. :p This apparently helps kickstart the quest that I need to test things out with, so let's get the cat, get my power armor, and go from there!

-->The little YouTube I watched was Fallout-themed as well:

A) First, a list of the ten best sidequests in Fallout 4 – to my delight, two of the ones I'm most looking forward to, "The Silver Shroud" and "Last Voyage of the USS Constitution" were ranked high (third and first, respectively). Always nice to see the sidequests, especially the goofier ones, getting some love!

B) And then a list of various tips and things you can do in the game. . .but the video is from shortly after Fallout 4 RELEASED, so most of them were things I already knew or had figured out on my own (though I do find it amusing to see the tip about the Pip-Boy flashlight when TODAY I finally figured out how to turn the accursed thing on). I did learn a couple of new things, though – like how to raise and lower objects while building them, and how exactly a supply line works. Also that how many "actions" you get with a gun in VATS seems to be completely arbitrary. XD The creator of the video seemed quite sour about that! Reasons I rely on hip firing and manual aiming. . .

-->Posted Chapter 13 of "Secundus 2!" We are OFFICIALLY DONE with that story! Holy crap, and it's taken me nearly a year to post the whole thing. . . Fortunately I do still have "Londerland Bloodlines" to work on. Along with "In A World Of His Own," another Forgotten Vows Verse story I actually said I'd start this year in my fic resolutions. . .aaaand promptly ended up forgetting about because 2020. So I'm bringing it back now (or, well, Monday). And my Sole Survivor!Victor and his verse has been pretty strong in my head lately too (who's surprised), so I suspect I'll be doing stuff with him on weekends.

-->And I'm currently answering comments, getting queues ready, and other Saturday night stuff. Also should work more on that "layers" meme, since I said I would. Tomorrow should feature more YouTube (since I don't have to spend most of the day cleaning), some Sims 4, and either "Londerland Bloodlines" or more meme stuff so I have it ready for Thursday. *nods* And then I just have to get through four days of work. . . But that's something to worry about tomorrow night. Night all!
