Happy Anniversay Corpse Bride!

crossover_chickYup, one of my favorite movies released in the US fifteen years ago today! Cripes, how the time freaking flies. . . Anyway, I ended up having a pretty good Wednesday, which makes me happy:
-->Work was much quieter -- I brought up the issues I could to my supervisor, and we managed to come to an agreement on a couple of things, and the rest of the day was largely spent doing roster maintenance. Less people to dodge = a happier Vicky.
-->Got home and played the beanbag game (after changing into my Corpse Bride t-shirt, of course) -- and managed to smoke my parents on the first three games! :D Now THAT was nice. I actually stayed pretty decent throughout the five rounds, with solid starts -- Dad finally came back for a win in the fourth game, though, and Mom pulled out the extra points she needed for a win in the fifth. So we all won at least one, and I got to make up for Monday's crappy performance. Yay. :D
-->Wrote a little more on "In A World Of His Own" after dinner -- Fury has made his appearance, stabbing to death a Snark that managed to sneak up on Alice. He, Alice, and Victor are now having a little discussion about his appearance (he basically looks like Victor if he got hit with a Rage Box AND went into Hysteria Mode at the same time) and where he came from. There's not much more to the chapter -- just them discussing how Victor is handling his anger in a somewhat more healthy manner -- but hey. This story is basically just to have fun in Victor's Otherland. It doesn't need a ton of plot.

A) Time to catch up on GrayStillPlays:
1. More Solar Smash, because there's been an update to the number of ways you can smash your planets. :D Namely, a planet-vaporizing laser, a space worm that will chew through it like it's an apple, and CTHULHU, fresh from time in City Smash. XD Gray had a lot of fun playing with these and trying to figure out how things combined/how many of a certain thing he could spawn in. (Turns out you can have only one space worm, but ALL the Cthulhus.) And there's a planet creator now too! I expect to see some truly baffling creations from Gray in the future.
2. Stick Man Destruction – yes, another one of those games all about destroying stick figures and breaking their bones via various horrible vehicles. (Have we played this one before? I genuinely don't remember, he's done so many.) Not only are there many awesome premade cars, there is also a vehicle creator – and yes, Gray broke the game by making things like a rocket car designed out of 100 rockets layered on top of each other. XD His best creations, though, were a car made out of forklifts and cannons – and another made out of a bunch of wheels all surrounding a single toilet. Tons of speed, tons of smashed sticks, tons of experience. In-game money no longer has meaning to him after THAT run. XD
B) And it's back to Call Me Kevin and Among Us, doing the opposite of his pacifist runs – he created a bot to spam "q" (the kill button as an impostor) when he presses the "0" key, meaning that he became a MURDER MACHINE whenever it was on. Though, naturally, he started out being an innocent Crewmate and making friends with people wearing the same hat. When he did get a chance to be the Impostor, though. . .well, he spent most of his time running away from people to stop himself killing them in plain sight. XD And he actually succeeded pretty well! Not to mention, he managed to deflect an accusation against himself by having just the right username – "me." XD Other little space nugget just said that, and Kevin managed to trick everyone into believing it was a self-report. XD Fantastic ~
C) And then, since it is the anniversary of Corpse Bride, I rewatched both of the trailers. Ahhh, nice little shot of Victor goodness. . . :p
-->And then the rest of my evening has been listening to music, catching up on webcomics, and quickly throwing a few things in my Victor Luvs Alice queue on tumblr -- FINALLY finished that damn "Layers" meme for my Malk!Alices, w000~
And now I have to answer my comment and see about getting in bed, because GAH where does the time go?? Been a bit more of a distracted night than I anticipated. . .ah well, I got all the important stuff done! And now I just have to survive one more day at work. . .hoping it's at least somewhat quiet, like today. The less stress I start my weekend with, the better. *nods* Night all!
