And I'm running out of time before I need to get to bed anyway, so let me try and keep this relatively short:

-->Work was okay -- it was pretty quiet for the most part, with the most annoyance being me trying to start eating my lunch, only for one of my coworkers to show up and try to give me some napkins she'd picked up in the basement (they were both down there shredding stuff for a while). We were both still wearing our masks, and I hadn't actually taken my food OUT yet, but -- ugh. Couldn't she just leave them on the table? Also had another last-minute call, but this one actually went a LOT quicker, so I left closer to my usual time. . .and promptly encountered wretched traffic on the main drag, soooo. . . *rolls eyes*

-->Weather went from humid, windy, and cloudy to dry, sunny, and -- well, still windy. XD But it was pretty nice out! And it's supposed to be this way for the next few days -- good way to bring in October.

-->We had our five rounds of the beanbag game -- Dad won three games, I won one, and Mom won one. This is a reasonably fair spread. :p Seriously, I had one really good game, and then all the rest I struggled in. At least Dad had some embarrassingly bad throws too! XD

-->Wrote some more on "In A World Of His Own" -- I have started the "Butterfly Jungle" chapter, with Victor and Alice navigating said jungle. Victor's just expressed the opinion that he wishes he could have known Alice when they were both kids, so time to bring in his inner child with Mr. Explorer! XD I have also found a way to tie in the otherwise out-of-place chapter where he and Alice visit her own Queensland to meet the King of Hearts -- Alice either flirts or otherwise showers positive attention on every aspect of Victor's mind she meets, so Victor is not at all surprised to learn there's a version of him in hers. :) And that it's in charge of keeping the Queen of Hearts reasonably calm. XD

-->Did some YouTubing, as per usual:

A) Skipped the workout today thanks to late beanbag game, so straight onto more Among Us on Call Me Kevin! He did an all-truth session previously, so this session was all lying! Not a true statement allowed! And this time he gained a son (Rustworthy, who was only too happy to go along with some of this nonsense) and had the rug pulled out from under him when he resorted to super-obvious lies to get what he thought was a clear impostor thrown off the ship (he encountered an orange dude apparently running away from a body. . .but when he finally managed to get the others to understand and vote him off, turns out he WASN'T an impostor. And then it turned out the guy who was giving Kevin the most grief about "not understanding" his lies was the impostor. It was great. XD). Also, apparently there are more maps than I thought in this game – I thought you were always on the space ship or space station! Nope, there's also a planet map – Kevin apparently doesn't like that one as much, but it was still interesting to see!

B) Then, as per usual, we followed Kevin up with Gray! And today's offerings:

1. Contraband Police! It's only a demo for now, but it's all about acting as a border security guard, blocking contraband from entering your Average Small Eastern-European Vaguely Communist Country With A Funny Name. Think Papers, Please, only in 3-D and you can knife people. Yes, you can totally knife people, much to Gray's delight. And completely destroy their cars, which he did with glee. He also smashed up his own office (to the point where he glitched out the windows) and beat up his coworkers with no mercy. Methinks he liked this one!

2. More Happy Wheels, yes! We had some ultimate bottle flips (including one specially made for Gray), an incredibly hard rope swing, and the family bike ride through the radar balls. The radar balls, when they touch you, explode you so hard Gray actually censored it. I don't know HOW many times he tried this thing, but EVENTUALLY one of his children actually survived with enough body parts to EXTREMELY SLOWLY crawl to the end of the level. I wasn't quite on the floor laughing at that, but it was close. XD

-->Then I've just been catching up on webcomics and tumblr tags, glaring at my wi-fi connection all the way. Gonna answer whatever's left in the old inbox, and see if I can put something up in the queue on Victor Luvs Alice for tomorrow. Two more days to get through -- at least tomorrow is Taskmaster Day! A shame it's the last episode with James Acaster and Rhod Gilbert, but still. Should be a laugh. Night all!
