Chillier Thursday With More Traffic

crossover_chickYes, was on the colder side today -- and my ride home was the diametric opposite of yesterday's. I don't know WHAT was happening on the main drag, but traffic was backed up for AGES. I did not approve. >( Of course, on the day that we CAN play the beanbag game, I get home later than normal. . .
Fortunately, that is my major complaint of the day -- work was quiet enough to be boring, with me having to go through a giant list of people to review for our next thank-you file for pretty much the whole day. I tried to find ways to speed it up, but. . .bleh. At least I'm working?
Afternoon was all right once I got home, at least:
-->Played beanbag game -- unfortunately, I was JUST enough off my game that I didn't win a single game. It was actually Mom's day, in fact -- she won three games, and Dad won two. I did manage second twice, but -- meh. Hopefully I'll do better tomorrow!
-->Wrote some more on "Londerland Bloodlines" -- Alice has successfully talked down the guys who were going to start some shit with her at Surfside Diner, mostly by mentioning the cops are already on edge because of the murder at the pier, and that they're probably looking for scapegoats. . .and the Slasher happened to be there and backed her up, because the last thing he wants is cops around. :p She's just about to get the phone call that'll help clue her in to the fact that Therese and Jeannette are actually a split personality instead of two separate people. The end of the Santa Monica stuff in is sight!

A) No workout, so I decided to take a break from obsessing over Fallout 4 to watch some Sims 4 videos! Starting with some English Simmer vids I had in the old Watch Later:
1. "Forgotten Features of Sims 4 Create A Sim" – little things in CAS that people might not know about! Including, surprisingly enough, the fact you can have up to five outfits in each category per Sim these days. I thought that was common knowledge? O.o But I did learn a few new things, like the cheat to pause Sims animations in CAS (casclockspeed 0-10 – 0 is stopped, 10 is super-fast), and the fact that there's a "posture slider" on the back, to make your Sims not look like they're slouching. Good stuff! :)
2. "This mod gives you a chemistry system in The Sims 4!" – AKA, the creator behind WickedWhims (a rather famous Sims sex mod) now has WonderfulWhims, which is basically the "family friendly" version. It has attractiveness (setting what your Sim does and doesn't find attractive), personality (nine archetypes, and it looks like Sims get two based on the traits you assigned them), a new skill (Persuasion, to go with Charisma – can you convince a Sim of the truth of your ideas?), and even the option to make Sims polyamorous! :D There's also settings for menstrual cycles, how sims get pregnant, birth control, and STDs, but you can turn those off, and I probably would if I download this. It is pretty interesting!
B) Then it was over to Plumbella and Dadbella as he judged various Sims series townies! Dude didn't know anything about anyone in the series, so he came up with some interesting ideas for the ones put before him (for example, Cassandra Goth became Penelope, a swotty geek who loves black and secretly smokes on the weekend; Brandi Broke was cheerful Tulip/Daffodil/Grass XD; and Caleb Vatore became somewhat-self-important-but-still-decent Duradam (based on Dadbella thinking he looked like someone out of Duran Duran or Adam Ant XD)). It was a pretty amusing time, and fun to see Plumbella just having fun with her papa~ Also, she snuck in a picture of LilSimsie at the end – and Dadbella managed to correctly guess her screen name! Good for him. :p
-->And then the rest of the evening, after listening to a bit of music, has been catching up on stuff and getting queues ready -- did a Friday post for Victor Luvs Alice, just finished up asks and threads for Valice Multiverse. Time to wrap things up with those comments I can answer before 11:30, then settle into bed for the night. Just have to get through one more day. . . Hopefully I won't wake up early this morning overheated because I'm PMSing and that's what happens when I PMS. *grumbles* Well, if I end up getting my period this weekend, at least that means not having to deal with it at work. . .we'll see what happens. In the meantime, night all!
