Me Last Night: "Well, if I end up getting my period this weekend, at least that means not having to deal with it at work. . ."

My Body This Morning: Will you accept getting it today first thing?

Me This Morning: Well, I don't really have a choice, but yes.

So yeah -- got the bleeds officially as of today. Fortunately, it was a super-quiet day at work, with very little going on. I spent most of it finishing up a project from yesterday, then doing roster maintenance stuff. Nothing too taxing! And then the afternoon's been pretty nice as well:

-->Had another round of the beanbag game -- I managed to win the first game (though it was a close one!), then Mom and Dad each won two of the remaining four. So that was all right then -- I'll take ONE win over none!

-->Got in a bike ride despite my period blahs, so that was good.

-->Watched some new Taskmaster with dinner -- "Champion of Champions" two-part special, featuring the winners from the first five series competing against each other! It was a lot of fun, as this show pretty much always is. :) So far Katherine Ryan is winning, but we'll see what happens in the second part. . .

-->And as for the rest of my YouTubing. . .

A) Back on the bike, back to Jon's Fallout 4 Survival playthrough! After passing by the Fraternal Outpost 115 and over the wreck of the USS Riptide (which he avoided exploring because Raiders), he encountered the Diamond City Security fighting Super Mutants, took out a couple himself, collected some goodies (including what he kept calling a "Slightly Excited Laser Rifle" – it was a Sighted Excited Laser Rifle, Jon's PER -1 strikes again XD), and then headed into Diamond City itself. He did the interview with Piper (choosing at least one silly answer), caught Mayor McDonough's speech (which he'd apparently never seen before!), encountered Edward Deegan at the Dugout Inn and rented a room there (and ended up taking on "Confidence Man," the quest to help out Travis the DJ, after learning the owners wanted to see him – he was frightened he was in trouble for stealing some of their moonshine off a scavver, but no worries, apparently XD), and tried to gather up some goodies to improve Righteous Authority, only to learn the hard way that storing them in the mailbox outside the player house in DC, Home Plate, will make it so you have to steal them back, because Bethesda. I ended on him slipping into the Boston Library to get the Intelligence bobblehead there (needed for getting his Intelligence up to 6, so he can get Science! Rank 1, which he needs to improve his guns), and carefully monitoring a fight between the Super Mutants that spawn and the army of robots set up to fight against them (seeding the room with mines to help out, and discovering that the player does NOT trip their own mines now as he feared). There's still a couple of Mutants left alive, though. . .including one Legendary that I don't think Jon has twigged IS a Legendary. . .

B) Then it was onto Call Me Kevin again tonight! Featuring:

1. A general update video on his life, prompted by the pandemic and wanting to just connect with his fans. Somehow, in all of this, he's actually gotten HEALTHIER. In that he's finally managed to put on some weight (a problem he's been struggling with post-his car accident) and start working out more! He showed a clip of himself from when he first started the channel and – yeah, the difference is staggering. I'm happy for him. And as usual he's a total awkward sweetie, very loving toward his fans while being afraid that talking about himself is boring. No, Kevin, we love you and want to hear how you're doing. :) And I'm glad it's good, and that you're committed to being a good distraction for the rest of us.

2. Spelunky 2! A long-awaited sequel to the original, apparently, which involves you going into extremely dangerous caves looking for treasure while avoiding traps, wildlife, and natives. And ghosts. Kevin went in expecting something relaxing, and promptly got stressed out to within an inch of his life. XD Poor Kevin. . . He tried, he really did, but he kept getting arrows up the bum, or totem boxing gloves in his face. (It, uh, makes sense in context?) And he kept whipping the dogs by accident, well aware his channel would turn on him for it. XD I guess he was having fun, but man, I'd be tearing my hair out.

3. Okay, this is actually on his new channel, Call Me Kevin Clips (stream highlights), but he recommended it on the previous video, so I had to go check it out. And it's Untitled Goose Game – co-op mode! Yeah, that's a thing now. XD Kevin (after spending apparently a good portion of the beginning of the stream playing with his camera and green screen, making multiple Kevins and whatnot) took control of one goose (or possibly a swan?), and his friend Max took control of another, and together they terrorized the village! Did a good job of it too – they made a solid team. Especially with the ending task of getting the bell back to their home. Good times, good times~

-->Ended up taking a skip day from writing -- we ate supper a bit late, and I couldn't take my shower until afterwards. . .combine that with my period blahs and the fact that last week I ended up taking a skip on my "Londerland Bloodlines" writing because of stress, and I figured I could do the same here to "even things out." Besides, I've got enough going on with catching up with queues and whatnot.

-->In fact, that's what I'm doing now -- catching up on DW comments, then doing my tumblr queues before I'm completely out of energy and need to go to bed. It's -- a little slow, since I'm easily distracted right now, but I'm dong my best!

Okay, so, back to that before something else can yank me away. Tomorrow is a non-cleaning Saturday, so I'll probably spend a bit of time catching up on the old Watch Later (OXBox and OXtra, maybe?). Haven't decided yet if I'll be playing Fallout 4 or Sims 4 -- we'll see how I feel tomorrow. In the meantime, back to the grind! Night all!
