Started out warm but pouring; ended almost sunny but chilly. I do not approve of either set-up. :( But I guess that's November for you. . .at least the rest of the week isn't supposed to be too bad. I've got a long weekend coming up, that always helps. :P Extra long too -- while I'm used to getting out early on the Wednesday before Thanksgiving, usually it's just a couple of hours. This time they're closing the Diocese at NOON. I don't even have to bring a lunch! :D So that'll be nice. And yes, as promised, I'll be spending at least part of the afternoon with Fallout 4. :D

Other things to report:

-->Work itself was quiet, but in an annoying way, as we still don't have the official word on remote work, nor has our online provider fixed some of our issues. Meh. And I got out later than usual thanks to a combination of cleaning my area and having to go out the long way to avoid a non-mask-wearer, ugh. Hoping tomorrow is better on that front.

-->Did get in a bike ride after work, so yay, keeping up with the exercise~

-->Also keeping up, at least a little, with the YouTubes:

A) Back on the bike means more of Jon’s Fallout 4 Survival Playthrough! He fought his way through more ghouls down to the lowest levels of the airport (including a few legendaries that dropped okay stuff), and finally found and confronted Initiate Clarke about his actions. Turns out the poor guy actually had a friend before he joined the Brotherhood who was a non-feral ghoul, and the BoS’s stance toward ghouls, and having to kill so many ferals during the taking of the airport, did – not-good things to his head. So when he found the remaining ferals hiding out, he decided to feed them to keep them hidden and safe. Jon and Grills kind of sympathized, though Jon was clear that killing ferals is much different to killing regular ghouls (given that ferals are basically mindless monsters), and refrained from murdering the last of the ghouls trapped in the place. Grills TRIED to convince Clarke to turn himself in, but even with his pretty dress, that didn’t work, so instead he counseled him to flee, then went back to Kells and gave his report. He got a bunch of caps, a “good work,” and a new radiant mission to start mentoring squires. Grills took the mission just to have it, but Jon’s actual goal was to take him and his power armor back to the Railroad! He had the Mercer Safehouse quest to turn in, after all, and he was looking for a “Jackpot” quest to start unlocking ballistic weave. P.A.M., happily, gave him one – and one that wasn’t even that far away! Hub 360, a spot Jon had actually stumbled across when he got lost and ended up on the fallen skybridge close to Goodneighbor. Jon stored his X-01 armor at the Railroad base, then retraced his steps from that hilariously off-kilter wander until he found the Hub, then cautiously ventured inside. I left him killing super mutants on his way to pick up the cache that the Railroad needs for their operations. Good stuff to remember for my own playthroughs!

B) Then back to catching up on Call Me Kevin, which I will accomplish one day:

1. Sims 4 – we’re back with Jim, Turg, and Default for a Snowy Escape! The trio decided they needed a vacation after moving into the compound and so headed off to Mt. Komorebi for a little rest and relaxation. First thing that happened upon arrival was Jim disowning one of his kids for sneaking along, and then the firefighter started grilling burgers and Jim set him on fire. XD Yeaah, you know it’s a Pickens vacation when it starts with child abandonment and death! After a game crash, the gang moved onto the slopes (and actually didn’t do too badly), then ruined the local hot springs for everyone else by skinny-dipping in them. Turg led the charge on that one, in fact – though he changed back into his regular clothes when a child showed up. Without getting out of the water. XD And then we ended with a climb up the mountain itself, teleporting Jim’s balding teenage son Gideon there to do all the actual climbing while Jim just flew up on his broom. XD They made it to the peak, though, so good for them! Now they just have to figure out how to get back down. . .

2. Hitman 2 – Ireland is in total lockdown, so Kevin booted up the tropical island level and started playing pirate! Specifically, he did the pirate escalation mission, because why wouldn’t you? It was – well, it got off to an iffy start, with Kevin being a bit too into the murder (and flinging his homing briefcase at jetskiers) to actually get the treasure map pieces he needed, but he got his act together on a reload. . and then promptly went on a rampage to get a shovel he didn’t actually need. XD But he got the treasure, reveled in his new piratical look, and happily murdered people with the sword in the next level. And then struggled MIGHTILY to murder people with a cannon in the final level (mainly because he was insisting at shooting at point blank range. And at the wrong target). Managed it in the end, but it was a pretty interesting ride to get there. XD

3. More Among Us, where the gimmick is Kevin is clingy! More so than usual, I mean. :p As usual, he managed to make some friends among the public lobbies where he lurks, though he also managed to tick off a fair number of people. Also as usual. :p And he tried a different map this time – Pollus, the research center on the alien planet. Kind of nice to see him accidentally catching impostors in the act in a new location! I hope he keeps the variety. (As he plays the same game over and over XD)

-->Wrote some more on "In A World Of His Own" -- Victor has gushed over the Orphica, and is now using it to take out the Paino (with a little assistance from Alice and the Ice Wand). Think I'll wrap up this chapter with them defeating it, and the Conductor putting on a victory concert. :)

-->Just finished drafting out the initial posts for my three-part Newcrest Adventures update on Wednesday -- was hoping to get a little more done on them, but, as usual, the time got away from me. But hey, pictures are all sorted, got some starter text and the standard tags in -- I've been in worse positions on a Monday. :)

And now it's time to wrap things up comment-wise and then head to bed. One and a half days to go. . .depending on how well supper agrees with me. We had bbq chicken pizza, and Mom went a little generous on the toppings, and -- well, the sauce was kind of spicy. Even Dad noticed. I finished my pieces, but I'm a little worried about what's gonna happen once it's done digesting. I don't usually tolerate spicy well. . .

Well, that's a problem for me tomorrow, I think. Night all!
