Granted, I completed one item on it literal minutes ago, but that still counts! Let's see:

1. Catch up on the Fun With Shorts and James Turner videos in my subscriptions (hopefully also GrayStillPlays) -- Yup to all three:

A) It’s Turkey Day (even if not necessarily in this household), so of course we need a turkey-themed Fun With Shorts! Roughly seven minutes of a professional kitchen gushing over the new “table-dressed” turkeys that don’t require you to remove, you know, the bits that make it a turkey. Which is an innovation that I am thankful for, but saying that you can now serve roast turkey in July seems a bit much? O.o At least Josh’s riffs about how many appliances and steps one needs to cook a turkey were very much on point. XD

B) Then, as I fired up Sims 4 myself today and did some renovating, it was finally time to watch James Turner build a barn! A very beautiful barn, I might add – he spent a hell of a lot of time with terrain editing, and debug decorating, and carefully placing all sorts of stuff to make the lot fun to look at and to use. He, uh, apparently forgot a fridge in the kitchen, or a thermostat for the house in general, but still. XD (There IS a fridge in the lot, but it’s a mini-fridge all the way at the top. Whoops.) The commentary was amusing too – throwing shade on the continual lack of good gameplay and bug-fixing updates, then desperately justifying his enjoyment of the reviled Journey to Batuu pack. XD I mean, I’ll give him that it does indeed seem to have some awesome build/buy mode items in it, buuuut. . .you really gotta be a Star Wars fan, I think.

C) Then, after a late supper, it was time for GrayStillPlays!

1. More Happy Wheels! :D We had the pogo jump with the spinning Dorito of death (along with WAAAY too many crossbows and harpoons), a harpoon run that goes down a set of stairs, multiple horrible bottle runs, a trip to Australia (where everything will kill you), and the world’s longest ball fall which gets awfully spikey near the end. :D All amazing, all beat by Gray. He will not stop if you tell him that challenge is impossible!

2. ICBM – aka “Ever wonder what the Great War in Fallout actually looked like?” Apparently it’s supposed to be a strategy game about making alliances and building up your nuclear stockpile – but Gray discovered it was VERY EASY to edit the game’s files, so that’s what he did. Making giant bombs (get the draw size up enough and they’re literally the size of Earth!), increasing the damage to ludicrous levels, enacting Canadamaggedon. . .and finally leaving the Earth in absolute ruins and getting an achievement for it. Him cracking up as he attempted to figure out how he could have negative 6190 percent population in a country was the best part. XD

3. More Turbo Dismount, the OTHER game with all the impossible boards. XD And today’s special? Wind turbines! So many roads with gaps full of wind turbines. So many TUNNELS full of wind turbines. One giant pit of TEN THOUSAND CONVULSING WIND TURBINES – and Gray managed to find a way down without getting hit. And then he broke his sanity on a horrible Frogger level with a tank. XD If he just played this and Happy Wheels from now on, I would be satisfied.

(This means I'm almost totally caught up on subscriptions -- just one Kevin video and one Wyrd Sisters Podcast left! Though in the latter's case, I have to alert the creators that one episode is missing from YouTube, and it's the Seasonally Appropriate One, aka Hogfather.)

2. Play some Sims 4 (I need to see it with custom content and mods enabled) -- Yup, though rather like with Fallout 4, there was a bit of a process to it.

A) I had to put my mods back into the game's Mods folder, which took a little bit to find -- got there in the end, though

B) I had to check for updates for the few gameplay-altering mods I use (updates for two of them, including the all-important MC Command Center)

C) I decided to get a program called "Sims 4 Studio" to take a look at the rest of my custom content, because I'd heard it could get a little iffy with the latest patches, and ran a load of "batch fixes" on them to help update them as necessary. This proved to be a good plan, even if I didn't find the interface that user friendly, as it has fixed my "place and immediately disappear" glitch on a couple of items, notably the Duchess's bathtub and the hanging swing! :D

So yeah, did all that, then booted up the game -- and hooray, it still runs super fast and a lot more smoothly than before, yay! :D Though I didn't actually play a family today. . .instead, I ventured into Sulani and set up my first rental lot there, since you can do that in residential worlds now! :D Grabbed a nice house off the gallery from "tinalice" and made it my own with a few key replacements and additions (namely, adding more actual Island Living stuff to the house, changing the upstairs lounge into another bedroom, adding a fire pit and beach towels, and moving the whole lot around so it was more in the water). Good stuff, and I fully intend to send the Liddell-Van Dort family there on Saturday on a brief summer vacation! :D That's always how I wanted to use Sulani anyway.

3. Work some more on "Londerland Bloodlines" -- This is the one I literally just finished. Thanks to the timing of our meals today (we had the Thanksgiving Lunch at around 2, and a light supper around 8, and both times we watched episodes of series 8 of Taskmaster, which are about 45 minutes long), I didn't really have any time to do a proper continuation of my current chapter -- not if I wanted to watch my GrayStillPlays anyway. So I was looking at it about a half-hour ago (as per the time above), wondering what I could do --

And then I read the note about wanting maybe to put in a Tung-POV epilogue where he finds out that Alice's new ghoul is in fact the son of one of the richest men in the world, and figured, "why not?" So I wrote a page of him calling Knox, then Googling the Van Dort name (yes, you could do that in 2004, I checked) and finding out about Victor's family. Simple, quick, boom. I have not skipped my writing for the day. :)

And I even have a couple more accomplishments to my name:

-->Mom and I finished our latest puzzle! It was a bastard -- one of those where it can be really hard to be sure you've got all the pieces in the right place -- but we wrestled it into submission. Though, as usual, we had to go searching for one piece that was on the floor. Why does that always happen to us?

-->I got my queue for The Valice Multiverse done -- four asks, no big deal.

That leaves me with a comment to answer on DW, and then. . .dunno. Might treat myself with a couple of Fallout 4 vids. :P It's a holiday weekend, I can take a night to watch some other stuff. Especially since, tomorrow, pretty much all of my YouTube time is probably going to be spent trying to get down the OXBox/OXtra in my Watch Later. . . Also have to fit in Fallout 4, hopefully finish up the latest chapter of "In A World Of His Own," get some exercise (I have slacked these past couple of days), and -- well, that's about it, honestly. Yay long weekends. :p

For now, though, comment, and stuff. Night all! Happy Thanksgiving!
