Guess who got her period one day before the weekend? Technically it started last night, but today was the first full day, and it was -- less than fun. Mostly because I was super tired most of the day, which is not a good thing to be on a day where you're discovering new and exciting problems with our credit card transactions and trying to sum them up coherently for your boss. I eventually managed, but. . .bleh. Just glad I managed to get through the day and get home without major incident. Now all I have to do is get through tomorrow's room clean, and hope the nor'easter on the radar doesn't smack us TOO hard. . .

Anyway. Sum up of the evening:

-->Parents have a new puzzle -- a fall scene with a gazebo, some coastline, and lots of pumpkins. And lots of pieces with really funky shapes that fit together super-weird. >( We've managed to make the frame, and fill in a few bits and pieces, but this is probably gonna take a while!

-->Did get in my usual bike workout despite the red curse, so I guess good for me.

-->Also caught up on some more YouTube:

A) Got on the bike despite my bleedy condition, so I was able to watch more of Jon’s Fallout 4 Survival Playthrough! This time without any stutter at all – what a concept, huh? Anyway, with “Old Guns” almost entirely completed (always gotta talk to Preston to clear out a Minutemen quest) and some ideas on how to handle his robot foes, Jon summoned in a vertibird to haul Grills back to base after taking another level of Armorer for his next level-up. Back in Hangman’s Alley, he decided to prioritize luck in his weaponry – moving to a Lucky 10mm over the Deliverer – upgraded his military fatigues with the best kind of ballistic weave, and upgraded his power armor to give him a little more energy resistance, before popping it on and flying on off back to General Atomics. Skirting around a Super Mutant camp nearby, he proceeded to go in and do MUCH better against all the early robots. . .

Mostly because that legendary spawn that wrecked him last time was locked in the room with the robobrain. (A Quantum Robobrain, no less!) Jon took a few pot shots, but was only able to score one hit with the “guaranteed to hit” critical, and had to flee from some damage the legendary was managing to deal to him. Fortunately, exploring revealed a hole in the third floor – that led RIGHT INTO the room with the legendary and the robobrain. Cue Grills gleefully chucking frag grenades into the room. XD He picked up the Mechanist’s beacon, grabbed a bit of Sprinter’s gear off the legendary (not great), then took a moment to stop by the Prydwen to restock on vertibird grenades and say hello to Paladin Brandis (and get his unique gun, which is a Survivor’s weapon – does more damage the lower your health) before heading back to Hangman’s Alley (and a brief fight with the Swarmbot the vertibird insisted on dropping him off on top of XD). “Old Guns” was turned into Preston, Ada examined the beacon, and that’s where we left episode 24! I got a couple of minutes into episode 25, with Jon repairing his power armor and building a roof on his “tech lab,” but that’s about it – have to wait for my next workout for more Automatron!

B) Quick silly video in my recommendeds – a YouTuber using a soundboard of the Vault-Tec Salesman at the beginning of Fallout 4 to prank call people. Got hung up on by someone not interested in the first attempt; got hung up on by Don in the second attempt – and then repeatedly called him back, leading to Don and Vault-Tec Salesman yelling at each other XD; and got Joe, who was willing to play along, in the third attempt! Broke out the guy in Convenant who gives the S.A.F.E. test for him, isn’t that nice? :p

C) Call Me Kevin was back today with more Among Us! Today’s gimmick? Being a doctor who hangs out in med bay (after a brief stint in reactor – that’s FATHER K’s digs, Kevo), watches people scan, and offers impostors therapy! Guess who kept getting impostor after his first couple of games. XD Better yet, guess who kept getting banned from lobbies because someone got surprisingly pissed off at him being just a little bit trolly. XD Hell, the first lobby he joined banned him INSTANTLY. No freaking clue why. XD But it was a very funny episode – I like these little episodes, they’re pretty much always good for laugh. (Like at his strange ability to constantly piss off the red player in these games. . .)

D) GrayStillPlays was also back today, with more GTA V impossible stunt races! XD Today with a bike theme – though the first map, a ramp obstacle course with mines, forced you to complete it with a bike, a golf cart, and then some sort of semi-truck. XD The second and third were all bike, all the time, though – we all like wall rides? How about wall rides with obstacle courses? How about wall rides with obstacle courses that force you to go through them BACKWARDS once you reach the checkpoints? Gray does not like any of these things, and yet he completed both. For he is Gray, and he Still Plays. And cries about it afterward. XD

E) And, just because I can, another video out of the Watch Later – Outside Xtra doing a (two years on!) follow-up to their list about bosses that can be taken out in one hit. Some of them kinda stretched the spirit of the list – the Penguin in Batman: Arkham City is a multi-stage fight, with you punching the Penguin, THEN him trapping you with Solomon Grundy, THEN you coming back and dodging his machine gun before punching him again. So, TECHNICALLY, Penguin needs TWO hits. But I liked the head kill you can get on Dark Souls III’s Ancient Wyvern, and calling back to the classics with “getting the axe to defeat Bowser in Super Mario Bros” was nice. :)

-->Managed, after some very tough mulling, to knock out another one of my gift fics. As we're coming up reasonably fast on Christmas, I'm probably going to switch to gift fics exclusively next week so I can do two drafts of each. Though I may reserve the right to keep Sundays for updating my Fallout 4 notes. :p

-->And I've just managed to get through my webcomics while juggling two tumblr convos (one each on VictorLuvsAlice and Valice Multiverse) -- I dunno if the Friday Night (or, really, Saturday Morning) Writing Thing will happen, but I'm going to at least try to get my Valice Multiverse queue sorted.

And that's about it, apart from catching up on my DW comment. Tomorrow's game plan: Room Clean, Plumbella Marathon, "Londerland Bloodlines," Sims 4 if I'm feeling it and I have time. Everything dependent on, uh, the power staying on, as we do have to factor in that possibility! Suppose it could be worse, but we're only four days into December yet. . .

Anyway. Need to focus what's left of my mental energy on comments and asks. Night all!
