I didn't sleep particularly well last night (had a really hard time getting cool and comfortable enough, and kept waking up), so I'm REALLY tired right now. Doesn't help that it rained pretty much all day -- was supposed to be just PM showers, meeeh. At least the plants will like it, I guess. . . Anyway, let's take a look at the standard form:

Work – Not the worst Monday I’ve had, but it was still pretty busy. More credit card nonsense, stuff with the GL, looking up records for people, combining duplicates – the usual! Couple slow spots, but at least I never felt totally overwhelmed.

Alice: Madness Returns – Officially finished! :D And the final chapter didn’t even take half an hour to complete. I didn’t think it was going to be long – I’ve played that boss fight a few times, I know how to take out Bumby and his little minions by now. :p And, as usual, it was very satisfying to watch Alice confront the asshole and decide to take justice into her own hands. You go, girl. :)

(And no, no beanbags today – I believe I mentioned it was raining all freaking day? Ah well, ensured I could get this done without too much trouble!)

To-Do List

1. Get in a workout: Check! Got through another half-hour on the bike, and watched SuperHorrorBro’s summary of A:MR while I was doing it in honor of the anniversary. Decent enough sum-up of the game and some of the details therein, though I wasn’t particularly impressed by him misspelling Alice’s last name (“Liddle” instead of “Liddell”). Still, it filled the half-hour, and he didn’t make any major errors, so – win!

2. Edit some more on “Londerland Bloodlines”: Check! After being informed by Rabbit that she lives above the Trip she’s seeking (poor Alice is indeed a LITTLE embarrassed), Alice has met the man himself and is currently brokering a deal for morphine. It’ll cost her a little more than she was hoping, but fortunately Mercurio turns out to be okay with her using a little of his money to buy it. :p I mean, poor guy, he needs that more than twenty bucks right at the moment. . .

3. Keep up with YouTube Subscriptions: Three-fourths check – I had four videos thanks to not getting to Gray yesterday, and I only really had time to watch three. Sorry James, but we’ll have to get to you later!

A) Started with Call Me Kevin and a most unusual video – stream highlights of him and a fellow named Kitboga calling Norton Antivirus scammers and keeping them on the phone for over TWO HOURS to stop them scamming other people. By pretending to be two old dudes in a retirement home (Arthur and Stuart, respectively) starting a mail-order soup business. Complete with dessert soups, the possibility of a soup con, and a variety of silly names (like Soup-ernatural). XD It was great – Kevin was having a super hard time not cracking up during a lot of it. XD Also, Kit has a fake bank account for the scammers to play with (some sort of shell machine I think), and apparently the scammers actually SCREWED UP actually performing the scam (transferring what was supposed to be $300 but ended up being $30,000) – one of them, “Incompetent Paul,” transferred it to the fake mortgage account instead of from savings to checking, essentially paying the mortgage, which Kit was very amused by. XD It got to the point where the guy at the end, “David’s Wife” (that’s how he introduced himself) was like “you know what, keep it” about the supposedly-over-refunded money because they couldn’t get anywhere with “Art” and “Stu” (who kept trying to get them to invest in the soup business). So basically these two wasted the time of some terrible (in multiple senses of the word) scammers and did it by talking about mail-order soup. Delightful stuff. XD

B) Then it was time for a double shot of GrayStillPlays:

I. Yesterday’s offering, which was more Minecraft lunacy – apparently, there is a Karen mod, which puts an angry lady with a handbag and a glass of wine in your game. Gray, in his infinite wisdom, decided to make that Karen upgradable – and ended up with a giant woman who will throw explosive wine glasses and summon lightning whenever she wants to see the manager. And she wants to see the manager a LOT. Not to mention her enormous brood of children. . .these things could kill skeletons faster than Gray could spawn them! He had to send them away to the outer realms just to actually get any trading done in the Nether! The only reason the thirty Karens he spawned didn’t one-shot the Ender Dragon is because the FPS was tanking! It was pretty damn epic and another delightful episode of “Gray’s own hubris turns against him.” XD

II. And then it was time for today’s offering, the rather more sedate Judgment Day. One of those “send people to the correct afterlife based on their deeds” games – he’s played them before, and apparently he’s playing them again! And this one is particularly screwed up, featuring as it does a cop who tortures suspects for information, then becomes a gang leader (of a bunch of raccoons according to the art) and ends up in prison; Putin riding a bear and controlling all media; Pinocchio bribing a fairy to become a real boy (but admittedly also caring for Gepetto in his old age); and Cleopatra enslaving a bunch of Roman refugees and making nail polish from their blood – and then distributing all her make-up supplies to the masses before her death. Not even GRAY knew where to send half these people! XD Ah, it’s okay – everyone burns in Florida in the end. . .

4. Get my tumblr queues sorted: Check – got the drafts for my two featured Sims 4 builds this week (the Ice Cream Conery and Optimist’s Bowl-N-Skate 2) sorted with pictures and some starter text! Actual descriptions will have to wait until tomorrow, but at least it’s a start!

Not too shabby, I suppose! Now we just have to hope the rest of the week isn't too bad. . .and that I can get some actual freaking sleep here. Ugh, stupid insomnia. . . Night all!
