More Hectic and More Heat Tuesday

crossover_chickWell, "more hectic" on the work side, anyway -- afternoon hasn't been too bad. Here, let me show you --
Work – Definitely more stressful than yesterday, thanks to a variety of weird returns from our processing center I had to go through, errors on the GL that had to be accounted for, and some people calling in for stuff while I was trying to get the former two done. I mean, the day went by, but not exactly in the best way. Ugh. What can you do, except hope tomorrow is down to a dull roar?
Beanbags – Heat wave continues, so no thanks. And it’s supposed to rain later in the week – we MAY be able to do this on Thursday, but we’ll have to see.
To-Do List –
1. Get in a workout: Check – another thirty on the bike, and another chunk with Helloween’s Untitled Goose Game stream! This bit was more enjoyable, though slightly frustrating in the “I know more than the person playing about the game and can see where they’re making their mistakes” sense (basically he took everything he needed to put on the picnic blanket in the OPPOSITE DIRECTION of the blanket because he somehow hadn’t noticed it during his initial wanderings). But yeah, with somewhat less greeting people and more of him being an asshole goose, this was more fun to watch. Not sure how much I’d like a more serious game, though, given the slow start and the general mucking about. . .as it stands, I’m about halfway through, he’s about halfway through (he’s made it to the High Street and is working on that list), so I might finish out the week with this, then move onto something else.
2. Work more on the HypnoKink Notes: Check – did a bit more with the timeline, shifting up certain events (namely, Victor and Alice confessing their love to each other, to give them a slightly-longer official courtship to work with) and making sure everything was appropriately written up. Just have a few more dates to nail down in regards to some of the later story ideas I have, then it’ll be writing time, yay~
3. Keep up with YouTube Subscriptions: Check – got all three videos posted today sorted, yay! I mean, my Watch Later is in double digits, and I still have the hour-long podcast, but I have to worry about that later. . .
A) Started with “Rags to Redecoration, Part 15” from James Turner! Today Hazel had a Fabulous Living Room Renovation with the Patriarch and Matriarch of the current Bigwallet save file – Sebastian and Luna! Yup, just as Hazel herself gets into gardening in preparation for eventually joining the upcoming Cottage Living LP, she goes and redoes the living room for the Gardening King of Seasons himself! Who, naturally, likes Garden décor and handiness. . .
She did not use any Garden décor, or handiness items. Instead, James saw the super-expensive couches from Get Famous and redid the whole living room in a super-fancy style, complete with gold-trimmed wallpaper, marble floors, and all the most expensive and impractical furniture – the best to contrast the former family-friendly space. He ended up selling most of their electronics to stay under budget. XD Suffice to say, three out of five Bigwallets were not happy, with only Luna and her son Richie actually appreciating Hazel’s effort. She was paid nothing and her professional reputation dropped, but she managed to steal one of their expensive computers, so – net gain? XD Ah well, I guess they can’t ALL be winners. . .I’m sure she’ll do better on her next renovation!
B) Then it was time for Call Me Kevin, and some Mario Golf with Turg! Yes, Turg has returned to his Mii roots to take up the sport of kings – or, failing that, play some golf. Kevin got him a nice fancy outfit, a bendy club, and ALL THE POWER IN THE WORLD. You see, this game has level-ups, and a variety of stats you can improve, and Kevin put them ALL into power. Meaning Turg could hit that ball practically halfway across the earth by the time he was done. Granted, that did not serve him well in the courses where you were expected to RUN after your own ball. . .but he did decently enough, really, getting plenty of pars and even a few birdies! Feel like he did better than I usually do. . .I mean, yes, I’m playing MINI-golf, but still. :p
C) Then it was time for GrayStillPlays and more Happy Wheels! We had some interesting ones this episode – started out with the pogo jump climb from hell (complete with a danger cave for those who wanted to avoid the trek up Pogo Mountain); moved onto a spike fall with a secret little heist area underneath (Gray thought trying to avoid his Segway killing him in this section was harder than the actual spike fall); sped across Satan’s van run (easy-peasy); got rocketed to space (almost literally); went through the Barbaric Rope Swing (a truly HELLISH swing where it took Gray ages just to master the first few swings – and then you had to avoid an obstacle while clinging to your platform ride before dropping onto a bunch of conveyors. Gray spent SO LONG on this one. . .and then, after winning, came back to see what happens when you refuse to get off the platform. Turns out secret win if you’re willing to hold on long enough!); smashed through a glass break with knives and axes and crossbows (Gray got speared a good few times); and finally ended with a Spongebob level (which was not a horror level but given it featured rocket jellyfish, might as well have been :p). You know, the usual. XD
4. Get my tumblr queues sorted: Check! I actually got Victor Luvs Alice fully sorted for the rest of the week before I even did any writing or watched any YouTube! Mostly because, in a rare turn of events, I knew pretty much EXACTLY what I wanted to put up each day, and most of that was either already drafted or an easy-to-find reblog. The only thing I had to put some extra effort into was the Newcrest Adventures update, so I focused on doing as much of that before my workout, then the final post before dinner. :) So I’m good except for making sure the right number of posts are firing for the rest of the week!
As for Valice Multiverse, quiet day over there – just one ask. I padded it out with some Alice and Victor-themed reblogs. All set there for a little while too!
So yeah -- busy workday, productive evening, weather remains hot but as far as I know we're not breaking any records. Hopefully all these heatwaves break soon! We're supposed to see some relief at the end of this week, so keep your fingers crossed. Me, I gotta wrap things up and head to bed. Night all!
