Weather was fine all day -- I think it got hotter than they said it was going to, but that could also just be my room, which seems to get hot really easily in summer. But yeah, some growing cloud cover as the afternoon went on, but we could lounge around and have the windows open, so that was nice. And my reduced to-do list went just fine:

1. Clean my room: Check! Started around 11 AM, finished up around 2:15 PM (with a break for lunch around 1 PM). Everything dusted and Swiffered and vacuumed for another couple of weeks!

2. Clear some stuff out of the Watch Later and keep up on YouTube Subs: Check! Very Sims-themed day even if I didn’t play the actual game, with only one video not keeping with the theme –

A) Started with the rest of my Plumbella:

I. “Cottage Living owes my cow a personal handwritten apology” – another episode of the LP, which started with the revelation that Jesse McCowtipping not only married Michael Bell (depriving him of Creature Keeper status) but also got pregnant by him again off-camera, because why not. XD The episode itself was focused around Jesse trying to get back on Agnes’s Crumplebottom’s good side by doing her village errands, such as planting a pumpkin and scolding poor Kim at the grocery stall. Also lots and lots of cross-stitching. And Agnes staring into the camera and making poor Plumbella fear for her life. XD Unfortunately, for whatever reason, Jesse couldn’t complete her third errand (harvest a homegrown pumpkin), so she was unable to receive all her rewards. (Though a comment suggests what Plumbella thought was a pumpkin was actually a WATERMELON. . .) We also had the Cow Fair, on the same day as Daisy’s birthday – Plumbella aged the latter up to a child, then had Jesse make good friends with Brown Cow before bringing her in her cap and jacket to the fair, entering her and her enriched milk. Unfortunately Brown only got second place, and we have no idea how the milk rated at all. :( And then, upon going home, Jesse had twin boys – Plumbella named them “Hugo” and “Hustay” and was very amused with herself. XD And then promptly had Jesse get pregnant AGAIN because, as it turns out, Michael was a lot older than she was and aged up to an elder this ep, and I guess she wanted ALL the someones to remember him by. XD Welp, when you’re a family-oriented Sim. . .

II. “The scandalous history of Henford on Bagley” – aka, Plumbella is a whore for lore and is only too happy to go on about the lore in this pack. XD She talked about the whole story behind Henford-On-Bagley and all the major characters (though she admitted in her save file some of the NPCs didn’t seem the same in her LP world – as the elderly couple living in the Bramblewood had died by the time she noticed their house, I think that might have something to do with the short life spans), and all the drama. Though she had to correct herself on some of the drama – she thought Michael Bell was a total womanizer and was responsible for the tension in the Watson family when it’s actually the truth that the wife was woohooing with the MAYOR. Total facts, it’s amazing. XD I get the feeling actually making this place feel like it has a history is a big reason why she likes this pack, and I don’t blame her. I’m looking forward to doing people’s “storylines” via the Errands this time around! Hoping that everything I use for CC and mods will be cleared by next weekend so I can pick up the pack then. . .

III. “i have completed the Cottage Living pack” – the final episode of the LP! The goal this time was to finally complete the “Country Caretaker” aspiration for Jesse McCowtipping, which meant getting gifts from rabbits and birds and winning a Finchwick Fair! Plumbella cheated in some perfect-quality oversized veggies for Jesse to submit to the upcoming fair (and also set an eggplant as her head for a little while XD), then had Jesse and Michael go on a romantic picnic so she could meet some wild birds and get a gift. She succeeded, then got her other gifts from the rabbits around the house as Hugo and Hustay the twins aged up and she gave birth to Shannel, her next baby girl. . .

And then Michael died of old age. Plumbella had everyone teleport in to say goodbye, then – on a whim – had Daisy plead with the reaper to save her dad.

IT WORKED. Michael was restored to life and was able to attend the fair the next day with his eldest and his wife, who submitted one of her giant eggplants and cooked a pie at the pub to submit that too! The pie didn’t get anything more than a participation trophy, but the eggplant won first prize, meaning Jesse had completed her life’s goal! Plumbella went ahead and aged up Daisy to a teenager, then closed everything out by saying this was easily one of her favorite packs and she was very pleased with herself for finishing the LP. Good times! :)

IV. “so, The Sims 5 multiplayer…” – Plumbella talks about her thoughts on Sims 5 potentially having multiplayer – she was super against it before, but now she’s come around a little bit after experiencing games like Animal Crossing: New Horizons and Stardew Valley and THEIR multiplayer elements. She definitely doesn’t want it to be the main focus of the game, but she would be open to an optional side thing like maybe hosting parties for friends. Me, it wouldn’t be my jam at all, so I hope it’s either not implemented at all, or easy to turn off! I play games to get AWAY from other humans, thanks.

B) Then it was onto James Turner and the next episode of the Cottage Living LP! Chaz has indeed picked up a non-Hazel helper – his half-brother Trenton Bigwallet, the result of Brodie being abducted by aliens! Having aged up, Trenton is now bumming around in his human disguise, helping with cleaning out sheds and watering crops. The general pace of life for Chaz hasn’t really changed, though – get produce and animal products, go to Finchwick and sell them, then head home again. He HAS managed to befriend some wild birds, though, so now he’s got a stump for them on his property so he can get them to help with the bugs. And he’s managed to upgrade his little farm into proper rows of over-sized veggies outside the greenhouse, with the regular plants and trees inside (because the over-sized ones have no season, while the smaller plants do), with a few sprinklers to help automate watering, and Patchy looking over everything. Also there is now a small outhouse by the animal sheds, because needing the bathroom desperately is a thing in this place. XD It’s slowly but surely turning into a proper farm! Hopefully soon enough it can have a woman’s (Dream Home Decorator) touch applied to it. :p

C) Then we moved onto Call Me Kevin and more Sims 2 shenanigans! Today Sim!Kevin attempted to open his own business selling grilled cheese to the masses! He had to demolish the beloved community pool to buy a fraction of the land it was on, and he could barely afford walls after buying the necessary display and appliances, but he persevered and – um – well, it didn’t go well. First time around, he took his cats and all his customers were distracted by them; second time around, he couldn’t properly restock his product because he and his erstwhile customers kept trying to eat the grilled cheese the moment he made it. And then he couldn’t properly sell the partially-consumed sandwiches. And THEN he tried to hire employees, but the first one ended up quitting when Sim!Kevin couldn’t pay him, and the second two neglected their jobs and kept him from getting into his own building, so Sim!Kevin turned to insurance fraud and burned the place down with them in it. This was a perfect crime because the entire episode was punctuated by him having breakdowns and setting fires, both at the lot and at home. XD Also he tried to drown himself in his own ladderless pool (forcing Kevin to save him), two of his cats were taken away for not eating, and PoliticalTalk died when we weren’t looking (possibly from being scared to death). Basically, it was a very rough week for TheYouTuber family, and I don’t think it’s going to get much better going forward. XD

D) And finally we had GrayStillPlays, back with Solar Smash! Apparently the creators actually asked him for his input, so now there are lots of fun new ways to smash planets and kill their populations. XD Including a new upgraded custom planet system, where you can paint land and people onto planets! Gray decided to make an all-land planet and figure out how many people he could shove on it – just over 103 billion. He of course then proceeded to destroy it in various ways, including the new one-punch laser and the new freeze ray. XD He also turned Earth into a snowball and unlocked Cube Earth, which he was very happy about – he tried killing THAT in a fun variety of ways as well. He also tried a few protection options – turns out that having five billion satellite shields will not save Cube Earth from an exploding sun, and a D20 force field will not save 103Billion Earth from the fury of Cosmic One-Punch Man. It was, of course, completely over the top and ridiculous – exactly what I come to this channel for!

3. Write some more on "Learn To Love Again": Check! Did this before embarking on YouTube marathons – Victor spat out a bunch of interesting butterfly facts (courtesy of online searching by yours truly) at Alice, who happily ate them all up. The conversation just turned to lonely childhoods and their beloved pets – unfortunately, before Victor can start extolling the virtues of Scraps too much, a certain mother of his is going to interrupt. Ah well – at least Alice had a nice enough chat with him to want to see him again!

Additionally:

-->Had some scary-looking clouds this afternoon, but it didn’t rain, so we did indeed get a chance to play beanbags. Scores: 2-3-3-3-W for me (thanks to getting a ten in the last game just when I needed it – with my parents both getting ones right before so I had a chance to zoom ahead), 3-W-W-W-3 for Dad, and W-2-2-2-2 for Mom. Again, everybody won a game, so I am content. :)

And now I'm just keeping an eye on tumblr roleplay and chat stuff, so. . .also want to finally answer my FF.net PM, should get on that. But first, tomorrow's to-do list:

1. Free Writing Day -- work on Sims challenges, Fallout of Darkness snippets, etc

2. Watch at least three OXBox/OXtra list videos, keep up on YouTube Subs, watch Jon's FO4 YOLO video

3. Get in a workout

Again, gonna keep it simple for now, because my focus this weekend is on getting my Watch Later a bit more under control, and I'm not sure what other games I want to be playing besides Sims 4 yet. (Well, okay, I AM tempted to start properly playing the Tremere I set up to test Bloodlines on the new computer. . .) Focus on getting those things done, and if anything else happens, it's a nice bonus. *nods* Night all!
